it's very believable that stop motion is a lot of effort. I once made a film with lego stop motion. Every day cut down 500 pictures, voiceovers, sound effects, and music. A total of 4 weeks of effort. And all I got was a 28-second clip. So I always appreciate the creators out there who are producing 11mins worth projects.
This is the single-handedly the best tutorial for beginners, I think it is just insanely well done compared to all the other "beginner tutorials", this is perfect for new stop-motion animators.
Thanks I used to turn on my “room light” or like light on the ceiling which is behind me hopefully I will have less flicker now thanks! Also nice video especially for beginners but helpful to me too
This is so helpful, most of my Lego stop motions are really bad quality, and this helps A LOT, I just need to put more time into them, and I need a lamp 😅
I have experience with filming and I've been doing it for a while, everything about this is pretty good in fact it's probably one of the best ones I've seen. The only thing is I think that walk cycle is a bit hard for beginners I've been doing this for a while and I still can't get that one down.
This was honestly so helpful I just started my stop-motion channel with my friends, and I can't believe how easy this is, At first it was so... Well it wasn't hard and it wasn't difficult but it wasn't easy either. but this tutorial helped me figure it out and I hope that one day we will be making stop motion films as a career!
Hi I would like to thank you a lot I watched this video and I made a stop motion on air pollution for school and I got sponsored by uniceff and got a badge and mentioned this tutorial really helped thanks
At first, filming the walking shot can be difficult. This can happen because of the camera moving. So make a stand for the camera and tape down your set. You'll get the hang of it.
I'm from Brazil,i not speak inglish mais amei o vídeo você é um gênio!!! Na verdade nem assisti mais vi a tumb e gostei do suporte que você fez(as rodas)nunca iria pensar nisso

Thanks bro last time I posted a Lego stop motion was probably a year ago and I kinda forgot how to make Lego videos until I got this video for my recommended thanks I'll be posting more Lego stop motion videos because of you👍
Wow, thanks for the info! I’ve always wanted to make these kind of stop-motion, and usually what I do is just get my ipad and take each photo, going like 3 fps, then using the default photos app to put them together, basically I would get the little thing on the bottom that shows photos/videos taken before or after it, and if I slide it around then it will change the photo with the thing where it slides left or right. Honestly, it works pretty well, then I just use screen-recording to record it and the editing thing to crop of the extra. I had a lot of flicker and one even got a frame with my brother’s foot in it… but come on, i was like, 9
If you genuinely have a serious interest in this as a career path, I recommend using 3D animation instead of stop motion. There are many RUclips tutorials on this
I absolutely love this tutorial, thank you! My dad just got me a phone stand so I can use it for my phone to stand perfectly and I have green screen lighting to make it work!
thank you very much, you helped me a lot. Two years ago I watched this video and now I have on my other youtube channel 30.000 subscribers. Really thank you!!!

Bro you were doing something wrong then because it should not take 4 weeks for 28 seconds
he just has something else to do besides that every day as well
Did you post it?
I can so 1 min in about 4 hours or less but I’ll usually be in a rush and not really trying to i prefer to do 7 hours
This is going to help me out a lot in my future brick films
Cool
Have fun

I have tried making tutorials but they are so hard! This one is amazing! I use the same app too!
This is great for my new Lego animated film named "quest of the lost horizon "🎉🎉
Thanks for all the great guidance. We've applied your lessons in our videos. We're getting better with each one (with an occasional backslide :) ).
It worked! Thank you for making this tutorial!

Nation of Bricks this video is life saver.I used camera app for stop motion.I basically start recording and for every frame i stoped the video.
Awesome video!
Well done, +1 like :)
the separate headphones button really does the job, could've mentioned it in the setup part ;d gold tho!

If u could help me with a few questions
1. How would I include sound and voices and 2. What is the best FPS for videos
In apps that he mention you can set the sound and voices. But i dont know the optimal fps for it
I use 12, sometimes 6
a good tip for talking scenes is using the pause feature and adding like talking mouths which makes it easier to stretch out the video length
I have a question...?
When you change angles how do you recommend doing it?
To that 5 people who liked this, he doesn't need likes, he needs answers
What do you mean
goog dudeblox he changes anlges so smoothly
Idontknov true...
Set up the phone on a stand with wheels and move it slightly each frame
Thanks. It helped me and my “lego city” out
This dude is smart he used LEGO with wheels to hold his phone I use my alexa 😅
Yup, I am going to make one like that also!
