Not me screaming yaaaas when they bring up aqua tofana then immediately whispering aqua tofana, in true Bailey fashion. LMAO clearly I have a type of RUclipsr that I like.
Firstly, living for these sleepover vibes from my four favorite ladies! The energy between the three of you is incredible. Secondly, I’m loving the EMDR talk! I just started processing and I’m absolutely blown away by how it works. My capsule is a big old style filing cabinet with a bank deposit tube connected to the top, plus it’s featuring a small locked down hidden compartment in the top. My safe space is a flowery field right after a nice rain! Thank you for sharing your experiences with us 💕
Quick PSA about The Body Holds the Score, it actually wasn’t written for the general public. It was specifically written for practitioners that work with trauma patients. Because of that, it can be a really difficult and discouraging read for some. It’s a very informative book and definitely can be of help, but also has the potential to be very triggering for someone with little experience in working with their own trauma. I just learned this the other day and thought it was something important to know as a reader before jumping in, so just wanted to share :-) ANYWAY wonderful episode. Also Jeri’s reference to 1408…. Oh my god. That movie was weirdly intertwined with my early teenage years, I watched it constantly. I feel like I need to go back and rewatch but I’m a litttttle nervous it’ll bring up some forgotten memories
oh, I had no idea! Thank you so much for sharing this with us. I can absolutely see how it would be triggering, especially if I didn't have my built in support system/therapy.
Thank you for saying this, I didn’t know either! recommend this book to others but I can’t tell you how much I cried reading it. I worked with kids in the states’ care and was working through my own trauma too at the time. I only made it 60 pages in and haven’t had it in me to pick it back up.
Ciara talking about the sand made me tear up a bit. My mom and step-dad got married when I was about 11 and also used sand that I partook in. My step-dad had a cabin on the Mississippi river which is where he proposed to my mom so we collected sand from their in our on jars and combined it all into one big jar during the ceremony My parents still have that jar and we joke all the time because we all grabbed wet sand in our jars so when we poured it, it was in clumps instead of a smooth pour like with dry sand. Love knowing there are other blended families out there who include their kids in the ceremony!
It sounds like your old coworker did some sort of soul retrieval! Which is closely related to shamanic journeying, so it could be that or just something similar in nature. Either way, what a beautiful gift to share with people! 🩵
Cannot love this episode enough!!! I've been catching up with the TGOG pod and this one came out and I was like yeeeesssss my 4 faves!!!! Now to head over and watch part 2!!!♡
My husband's niece married a policeman, and, they had the reception at his old academy. Their cake was a bride handcuffed a policeman 's hands behind his back.
when they brought up bridesmaids I was shocked Jeri didn’t remember when she yelled “fuckin fucked by a demon” when they talked about it in the traditions episode
My mom is a very religious person and very catholic but I feel she too is some type of psychic. When she dreams about someone sick or dead it's usually right. She dreamt my daughter b4 I even told her I was pregnant and bcuz of her I took the test that after 10 years of trying it finally came true! And she already knew it's a girl!
For my sisters unity ceremony thing, instead of sand or the candles my sister and her husband made a pb&j together and ate it in front of everyone. I loved it
You guys should look into the book Journey of Souls. It talks about life after death and reincarnation. I'm horrible at trying to explain what something is about, but I think all four of you would find it super interesting!
Not to be that person, but in my Costume History class we learned that Victoria's white wedding dress, though commonly believe to symbolize purity, was actually originally used to symbolize wealth, because wearing white clothes meant you either had money to have people constantly cleaning it, or had money to constantly be buying new white clothes. Also she used it as a way to revive the hand-made lace industry, which was losing business due to machine-made lace hitting the market at much cheaper prices.
I wish I could remember the full story, but years ago when I was working at a pharmacy some guy told me that his ex wife or girlfriend tried killing him by putting some sort of poison in the water of his home. He definitely had some things wrong with him after that that he now has to live with...
Adding to what you said about man stealing the woman for marriage my father in law basically did that with FIL mom! She was not even 15 from what my mother in law told me when they took her!
Ahhh we love all y’all! Man, some of these wedding traditions are WILD 😳 “hey, everyone! Meet us out back and watch us do the deed! Let us know what positions you’d like to see!” 😂
Hey, fun fact. Most of our modern wedding traditions started in Victorian times. The outrageously expensive galas were meant to be a vulgar display of wealth. The elaborate white gown did not represent purity or virginity. The most impractical color to wear is white,so an exaggerated frilly, expensive white gown that could never be worn again for any occasion was the height of vulgar display of wealth.
These four ladies feel like I’m finally old enough to hang out with the cool Aunts
you read my mind.
Or,in my case, the fun neices/ grandkids.

Aqua tofanaaaaa
Thank you all for being so open about your therapy

The four of you together raise up really strong positive energy. Such wonderful vibes!💖💖✨✨

Energy entities aren't spoken about enough. Entities you manifest with your aura and energy, that bonds and ties to you and then follows you
Hell yes dinner and ALL my favorites!!
My moms name is Dove! She goes by Dovie, I’ve never heard of anyone else with that name before. How amazing!
My husband's niece married a policeman, and, they had the reception at his old academy.

For my sisters unity ceremony thing, instead of sand or the candles my sister and her husband made a pb&j together and ate it in front of everyone. I loved it

That would make a great movie.
Watch the Korean drama Hotel del Luna. It has something like that, a wedding with another dead person.
Adding to what you said about man stealing the woman for marriage my father in law basically did that with FIL mom! She was not even 15 from what my mother in law told me when they took her!
WAIT… so EMDR unlocks the multiverse 👀😮
