Its easy to underestimate the amazing power of 1000 plus watt Head Rush speaker systems. In my experience, as long as I do not reuse the grill, the speaker seems to last for months. Absolutely love the one with the green light. Some people seem to think they last for a distastefully short time, say a few days, mostly a few weeks. This depends on what environment they are in. Once you put headphones on and you connect this with a PC, it will work as a PC monitor. HeadRush speakers can also be utilized for laptop related purposes, and of course, for parties. These are ideal party speakers. Once you put your laptop on the speaker it works as a fantastic laptop stand. You can also keep a diary or two on top of it. Personal experience with the 2000 watts Head Rush speaker is highly impressive - it produces some of the deepest sounds imaginable. Congratulations for your new speaker! Thanks for your review!! Best wishes to you from Iceland!!
For some reason they didn't route the Bluetooth to the output... So it doesn't go to the front of house... Or record. Kinda of a bummer and definitely a benefit the Mackie has if that is something you require.
Hi there, thanks for demo. I’m not looking for a cab replacement but for price power and size I like the HR, do you think it works for PA as well . Or it’s better to go with alto?
You could definitely use it as a PA but I think you'd be happier with the alto and hopefully the Bluetooth goes off the output which it does not on the Head Rush for whatever reason 🤷🏽
Is it better than the original? I got the original, and in two weeks after I got it, they announced and released the MKII. Kind of feel ripped off there. Hope it doesnt sound that much better or i did get ripped off for sure
I'd say the only thing you're lacking is the additional wattage other than that I kind of like the case of the old one better, as the handles are better suited for handling. They basically copied the QSC K12.2 to and added more watts... They sound the same in live mode 💯
@Lesspaw41 it has a tight bass response punch I prefer like a sealed guitar cab versus the boomy ported /open back cab bass response of the Mackie. Plus engaging the high pass filter drops out much of the bass, leaving just the mids and highs if that's the tone you prefer. Of course if you have a HeadRush pedal you always add an EQ to your rig chain to dial in your perfect tone.

@@Yatukih_001 It impresses live to many amp affectionados all the time!
So a venue I perform at bought some QSC k12.2 and I noticed the outside shell is pretty much identical to the headrush and the alto.
they have tons if these on auction for very low prices and ive been considering one
Get something with an on-board EQ because these things are boomy as hell. Or at least an EQ pedal to dial out the harsh tone.
@@JimmyKay1976 I decided I'll probably go with a line 6 Powercab
@journeyfms to each their own, no wrong answer if you have your sound/tone.

Does the incoming bluetooth sound go out of the XLR out, or only the guitar signal/signal in on channel 1 and/or 2?
Excellent question... as I found this week out it doesn't with the MKii... It does however with the Mackie.
Does the high pass filter and Bluetooth also go through the mix XLR out?
Yes

@PitDriver is the MKII less "boomy" than the original?

The headrush core goes directly into the headrush cab??
It's a HeadRush MX-5, but it wouldn't make a difference as all headrush units connect and run the same.
XLR or 1/4 instrument jack
Thanks
you said *twenty five thousand watts* lol
nice demo though bro
Must have v had Motley Crue's 50 thousand watts on my mind lol #motleycrue #loud #watts #guitaramp
had the MKII - But the Fender FR12 won big time -
How much?
How much?
I'm really leaning towards buying the fender is it loud enough playing with a loud drummer?
@@jakesellers6471 the only way you will know that is to test it with your drummer. It's loud enough with my drummer
Sounds a lil bassy...im sure it can be tweaked out
It can definitely, I prefer the bassier tone.
#headrushfx #MKII
