In this video I give an honest long term review of my 2022 Kawasaki Ninja H2. The is one of my favorite bikes of the fleet but as always, there are some things that I think could be improved. I discuss the pros vs cons as we ride through beautiful Tampa and Clearwater, FL. I also say who this bike is best suited for.

Your throttle cables can be adjusted by the the tube. Slide over the rubber that covers the adjuster and lock-nut. Adjust out all play. Keep in mind that no play can be problematic when going over bumps as it may make you hit the throttle on accident
I bleed Ducati but if I could own any other bike it would be the H2. Has to be the most exciting bike on the market right now. Kawasaki have always been my favourite Japanese manufacturer. I remember riding the GPZ 750 Turbo back in the day and that was crazy for its time. Also the Z1300 what a beast. Kawasaki have a history of pushing the envelope!

Right on top by the throttle, follow along the throttle cable there will be access to the turnbuckle so you can tighten up the cable and remove the throttle play. Takes a minute 👊

Man I’m so jealous of that Florida weather getting to ride comfortably all year I used to go to Bradenton and Tampa a lot with a buddy that had family there. I came close to moving to the Tampa area about 6 or 7 years ago

I’m not an expert in bikes but I believe you can correct the tension on the throttle, it’s literally just a wrench to tighten the tension on the cable, at least on my bike it is.
One of my first videos I watched of yours was you taking delivery of the H2. Happy to say your content has been some of my favorite by far over the last year. Congratulations dude! You've earned everything you got!
Definitely would be awesome to ride but I like to go fast all the time corners and straight so I couldn't justify the cost. I'd love your r1m or BMW...
I live in Orlando, and I’m excited to meet u at a ride out, just waiting for sum sprocket washer to come in the mail for my 636
get your owners manual and see what play they suggest, many on here are correct pull the rubber boot and adj .. The problem is they have to have about 3/8 of an inch play or when you hit bumps it will cause the bike to jump. My Yamaha FJR1300 had the same problem from the dealer setup. Make sure you turn the steering full going both directions before adjusting. Sometimes the cable for ride by wire gets hung up and sometimes it is not routed correctly. That test will show you if the play changes going full lock each way. When You have work done it can happen that the cable gets routed wrong and they adjust the play for the cable being to tight. You can fix this yourself.
I was glad to hear you mention the difference between the R1 to the H2 at speed. My R1 never made me feel sturdy and planted over 150. (In "Mexico" of course.) I now have an RSV4, and it is an amazing difference to have that confidence that the bike is steady at speed. As always, love the content. Congrats on the move.

The adjuster for ur throttle is right in front of ur right fork.
Promotion throttle kit. Comes with different lengths settings. I had one on my Zx10r I liked it a lot. . It seems like Kawasaki has a lot of throttle slop.

Change your throttle tube to a metal one with a bearing in it and then it'll come with different cams on it that will give you what you're looking for and you can get a cheap plastic tube with cams but it's an h2 so and idk if it's able to be adjusted via throttle cable because it's ride by wire but then you won't have to buy anything

What gears u using? The stock one is bad i have a 2023 h2 with a roaring toyz swing arm vandemon exhaust sprint filter and brocks lowering kit. My tune is stock and the bmw s1000 rr can keep up with me im shocked. The stock gears are bad when i roll race with the bmw im in the end of 2nd gear at 140 km/h as soon as i hit the gas i have to hit 3 rd gear its weird how short the shifts are as stock gears and tune. What do u recommend i do

I had my H2 as my daily was a blast to ride everyday sure it's a little more heavy for the twisties but got plenty of power to get through them just fine. After a tune with smoother throttle mapping not as bad as the on/off switch it is stock. Plus the rain mode for the rainy days no problem.

D please fix that throttle play! Look it up, it takes 5 minutes.
The throttle cable has a spot on top for access. You separate the two rubber tabs that water seal the nuts, loosen the nuts, and twist them so they get closer or further apart. This tightens the wire. It’s very similar to adjusting your shift lever

Im definitely intrigued by the h2...but...I owned a beautiful zx11 a while back and it was a sour lemon...that's actually a understatement..it was more like cutting a lemon in half and holding each half in each hand and smashing them in your open eyes 😂..lol...I like wheel stands too and that unfortunately blew out 2nd gear...so the motor had to come out and cases split and replace it...then I did it again 😔.. funny how my gsxr1000 has taken all my abuse for 10 years and still runs/shifts like a new bike tho...

First video of yours that ive seen! just wondering when you say youre a big guy, how big? im 6'5 250, I currently ride a 2008 Triumph America (starter bike) and Im the type of person who doesnt like to choose when I can have both. Im thinking about getting the h2 as a 2nd bike (first sport bike) because when I sit on something like a honda cbr 600 RR my legs go above the gas tank. that doesnt seem enjoyable / safe to me.
I’m gonna be real with you bro if you haven’t even felt the power of a 600 super sport yet there is no way jumping on a H2 is a good idea. When you say “sit on” do you mean you rode the 600’s or literally just sat on them?? There are professional riders scared of these things.

I'd say if you are a Busa or ZX14R owner your next level is the H2 or H2R. It's like having a McLaren P1 and then purchasing a Koenigsegg or Pagani.
