@@davetodd4928 Oh wow, that's so cool, especially coming from you Dave! I'm gonna jam to all your blues tracks! Which song of mine did you like? Do you have any advice? I'm dropping a new EP in 2 months. I'm thinking the next one after this should be more blues influenced. Your tracks bring that old fire back!
Thank so much! No advice, just keep being you and do what you do best. My favorites were Stained by Tears and On Fields of Clover. Good luck on your new EP!
Thanks Dave this is so jammable lends it's self to all the patterns I've been learning pick a bit outta each and more this works so well with Am to C and C to Am honestly can't go wrong and every improv I find something new to widdle on it's the best still on my accustic will give it a try on my axe when I can stop jamming to this just slide into the notes and man loose yourself :)
I hear ya, Mark! Try focusing on the chord tones (root, third, fifth, etc.). Start with the roots and add the other chord tones as you go (think arpeggios). Have fun, you'll get it!
I just posted a bass version of this track. There is no bass in the music so you have more freedom to do your own thing. I did this for another track previously and it worked out pretty well. Let me know how it works for you! Thanks! Here's the link: ruclips.net/video/ibxkowOHE2Q/видео.html
Hi Dave I just discovered your backing tracks and appreciate them a lot! The chord shapes for some of these chords are a bit elusive. Do you have a spot where you diagram the once you use? Keep up the great work!
I don't have someplace to post charts at this time, but I'll try to figure something out. In the mean time these chords are easily available with a quick internet search. Thanks for listening and I'm happy to hear you like this track.
There ain't nothing I can do, or nothing I can say That folks don't criticize me But I'm goin' to, do just as I want to anyway And don't care if they all despise me If I should take a notion To jump into the ocean 'T ain't nobody's bizness if I do, do, do do If I go to church on Sunday Then just shimmy down on Monday Ain't nobody's bizness if I do, if I do If my friend ain't got no money And I say "Take all mine, honey" 'T ain't nobody's bizness if I do, do, do do If I give him my last nickel And it leaves me in a pickle 'T ain't nobody's bizness if I do, if I do Well I'd rather my man would hit me Than to jump right up and quit me 'T ain't nobody's bizness if I do, do, do do I swear I won't call no copper If I'm beat up by my papa 'T ain't nobody's bizness if I do, if I do
Fantastic BT Thanks 👍👍👍
Thank you so much!
What I just played there was nobody's business. Not even my own, 'cause I can't remember what it was. But it felt awesome! Thanks Dave!
Thank you so much! I like your sense of humor, Morten. Glad you enjoyed playing to the track.
Hi Morten, I watched some of your videos. Your original material is amazing!

You're awesome for these man. 🙏
Wow, that's so nice of you to say that!
Abstract progression almost a Hawaiian slant simple yet complex. I can run my harp all over this. Good times! Thanks!!

@@davetodd4928 Thanks for taking the time to get back to me, sir.
is it just me or does this song lend itself nicely to soloing in c major and c minor?
Yes, that’s a great idea!
Magnifique
Thank you! Hope you have fun playing along with the track.
There ain't nothing I can do, or nothing I can say
That folks don't criticize me
But I'm goin' to, do just as I want to anyway
And don't care if they all despise me
If I should take a notion
To jump into the ocean
'T ain't nobody's bizness if I do, do, do do
If I go to church on Sunday
Then just shimmy down on Monday
Ain't nobody's bizness if I do, if I do
If my friend ain't got no money
And I say "Take all mine, honey"
'T ain't nobody's bizness if I do, do, do do
If I give him my last nickel
And it leaves me in a pickle
'T ain't nobody's bizness if I do, if I do
Well I'd rather my man would hit me
Than to jump right up and quit me
'T ain't nobody's bizness if I do, do, do do
I swear I won't call no copper
If I'm beat up by my papa
'T ain't nobody's bizness if I do, if I do
Thank you!
