I ended up making something similar for my freshman high school electronics class. I had a feeling idubbbz would be fine but actually seeing his reaction was great.
You can actually make one of those really easily for your fingers using a copper plate, a resistor, two pieces of wire, and a battery (like a 9v or something similar if you don't want it to be too bad). For those wondering how it actually feels, think if your muscles flexed without you actually flexing. It doesn't hurt and kinda tickles in a weird way. If your skin is sensitive then you'll probably have a bit of redness where it actually zaps you though.
