Yes! An Even if Tempest review! Honestly, despite it’s flaws it was still a very enjoyable experience. It might of been because of the very likeable (as well as very hatable) characters that made it that way. I initially got this game for Tyril after seeing an Otomeme on the subreddit but after going through the prologue I ended up getting really invested in the main plot. After finishing the game in 6 days straight all I can say is that it was a very interesting and enjoyable journey, flaws and all. Tyril stayed and is now my all time favourite, but I also like Zenn as well (both of their blushing sprites are very adorable). I’m happy with the fandisc being released soon so that I can have some fluff after all that despair.
On another note: I enjoy watching your videos very much!

It was a very close call between Tyril and Zenn for me! I have to admit I like Tyril's character better, but Zenn's endings more and his slightly steamier romance 😅

I started playing this game the other day and my first thought was finally an otome game similar to those in otome isekai webtoons and mangas lol. I'm really excited to play the rest of it .

It definitely feels like there's a good thought about this game around witch and time, and then they realized that they're out of money or something so decided to cut some stories 😅. No but it's actually fun to play even if it's dark like Shuuen, and really wish they have a sequel to fill up the story. And I love Tyril, he is so cute❤

I also hope the FD might explain some open questions (but more importantly will give us loooove)

This is one of my favorite otome and I agree with all the criticisms. I feel like the devs and creative team were very rushed to get this game out. However, I hope that those who like dark stories and dark romances like me give it a shot because this is The "grimdark" otome! It was one of the few otome I couldn't put down and I finished it all in like two sittings.
I'm really excited for the FD and I hope Voltage has more console otome for us! Because if this is their original console debut, then I'm excited for what else they have in store!

i loved it so much although can we have Ish route? xDDD also i want more for Lucien my sweet boy deserves a route, his route felt more like the final main scenario with everyone there and no scenes for him with her in it T_T, and his happy end was rushed :')

that was great ! i have a pretty similar opinion to your, though even if the romance may have been a side plot, it still worked pretty well and i adore all the characters. I do hope they explain more in the FD (and maybe and Ish route ? ) and we get some more fluff after all the pain. I must admit i like angst and dark topics in my otome, i just need to have a happy ending in the end for it to feel all worth it. Needless to say, i am prety hyped about the shuuen no virche release ! Anyways, thanks for the review :D

@@LinLinLavender honestly i would say its worth it, really made my brain explode when everything was explained. I think its one of those stories you need to read to the end to really enjoy what the author tried to do, though if you were not having fun with it you dont have to force yourself of course :')

And of course, seeing all Japanese culture connections was fun for me, too. Like Maya literally being Saber. Mr Endy Bebe from Puella Magi Madoka Magica. Stories reminded me of MONSTER side book, about God of Hope and monster, that destroyed peace by giving him hat... And No Longer Human original by Osamu Dazai, where shadow lurk to suck all hope off mc, that is driven to lose hope... And so on. Also obviously Danganronpa implication. Sometimes looking for easter eggs is half of fun. 😉
BUT as FD story is suppoused to give us 'truelly happy ever after' (not whatever TF ISSH true ending implied us), I am on board. 👌

@@LinLinLavender Mr Endy is this 'mascot' that appear to eat human. It reminded me, if remember 5th(?) episode of FIRST psychological thriller anime/manga. Puella Magi Madoka Magica, that turned standard 'magical girls' dream into nightmare, with Kyubei on board.
As this was first magical girls anime/manga, that ki//ed one of main characters in the starts of serie, showing it will only get worse. Which became now very much fallowed trend to new magical girls series. 😂
And Mami, one of girls, died eatten by clown-like puppet, that jumped out of witch they were fighting... As, yeah. If You don't know Puella Magi Madoka Magica(personally prefere movies over anime episodes), it is about naive, sweet girls facing oportunity to save world after saving little, cute cat-like, when hunted by one of them, in ogher timeline, where no one, but her remember, who IT is. But as she is outcast, that will wish since first timeline to protect her first friend... By REWINDING TIME EACH TIME SHE DIE. 🤷🏻♀️
Which turns Homura into deeper despair, more her beloved friend become due to her own wish source of energy to universe, that Kyubei needs...which makes them BOTH unending power resorces, especially with Madoka growing Surviour syndrome. 🤷🏻♀️
And as young magical girls despair turn them to witch, that turn to fuel for universe, that those Kyuubeis need to keep homeostasis of UNIVERSE... So Witch they fight is literally magical girl that fall into despair, breaking their souls. 🤷🏻♀️
And so, Homura try to save Madoka, who try to save world from ending and other girls from suffering...
Which makes GREAT field for psychological thriller world known masterpiece made on little overemotional girls shaken by small life dramas. 😂
Bebe looks similar to Mr Endy which made me think of it, as we are said LITTLE about mr endy. 🤷🏻♀️

Personally I was waiting any "You're dead", even through after third one I stopped to rewind...video...to hear what was said, while I was laughing. And talking on Twitter with Ayane Ushio, I really feel hyped for fandisc... As grusome, dark plot fan, that had tremendous time, aside from Tyril 'neutral' ending(ge chapter 4), that made me cry ugly, but this is because of personal links. 🤷🏻♀️

Just finished this game today now I can watch this. I LOVED this game despite the obvious flaws and rushed content in some parts. But what I really enjoyed was the time travel mechanic and the trials. The romance does take a step back but I didn’t mind that so much. Just found out there is a fandisk on the way so hoping that gives us more romance (especially for lucien, poor guy really had the worst of it in this game but I still love him). Tyril was my fave, I couldn’t stop giggling at his kink jokes.

I played this game the moment i got the notification it got out and well... I was really disappointed with the romance, but despite that i loved how many dark topics were presented in this game. However, maybe the only thing that succeeded in making me go: wait a minute... Was the thing with the child and the prince if you know what i mean...haha. Overall, the game was enjoyable for a romance sucker otome gamer like myself. Anyways, i enjoyed your review on this game as well, i was hoping for this one!

Anastasia and the MC of Thears of Themis are currently my favourite MCs, both of them are competent and strong in their own way.

Some describe Shana in Birushana as strong, at least she's physically strong
I would also classify Lynette from Cupid Parasite as strong and independent
Olympia in Olympia Soirée develops into a strong MC 😍
The MC in Variable Barricade is headstrong, but not really emotionally mature
So depends on which kind of strong you're looking for

I played this game and it kept on crashing. So, I had to delete it. Too bad you can't get your money back from the Nintendo Eshop. 😑

This game crashed so much for me too! Yesterday no crashes and then today literally every 5 to 10 minutes. It seems to happen more when you use the skip function.
