So I just got this exact reactor, you say that it needs an air gap. I can not seem to get that in my reactor. How did you achieve that air gap? Im using bio pellets if that matters. TIA
I’m lookimg at buying one of these and I have a question. Does the whole reactor need to be removed to change out the media or does the canister just come off?
That looks like a nice reactor. Is the exit tube directionally adjustable (i.e. swing back and forth) or do you have to arrange your equipment inline so the outlet is near the skimmer intake?
Thank you for the video

The whole reactor needs to be removed. Which is good and bad. May as well have do some cleaning to it while you have it out.
Thanks for the info! Yes that’s both good and bad. I guess I’ll add it to the monthly cleaning list
Need to get my 180 tank back up and running, all kinds of new toys have come out since it crashed. :)
Great video. Will they in any hang on back models for larger tanks? A Lot of us use them that hang on our sump
I have been debating between bio pellets and vodka dosing
Waiting on a HOB version of this reactor.

It is not but it wouldn’t take much to get that accomplished.
Looking to get my first media reactor but unsure what to run in it yet. Any suggestions?
what are your parameters?
I will let you know tomorrow
How do you like Bashsea's bio reactor?
Haven’t looked at them.
