WMOC 2024 | Forest qualification

I am participating in the orienteering veteran world championships' forest distances in Southwest Finland. Today, we are in Sauvo, where the qualification for the forest distances took place.
Due to a knee issue, I haven't been very active throughout the summer. Last week, I went to the doctor and had an MRI, and there’s nothing clearly broken in the knee. I was advised to start moving and see how it holds up.
Today's course in the M40-1 category was 8.0 km with 14 control points. The weather was hot and humid.
The video was recorded with a GoPro camera, and I made a map animation using the RouteGadget tool.

Terve. Olen aika-ajoin katsonut näitä tuottamiasi suunnistuskokemuksia / analysointeja. Selkeää ja asiantuntevaa läpikäyntiä, jota on mukava kokeneemman suunnistajan katsoa ja varmasti kokemattomammalle näistä on oppia ammennettavissa. Tämä kyseinen video kiinnosti erityisesti, kun olin kyseisen kilpailun yksi ratamestari ja juoksemasi radan suunnitellut 😉.
