I thought about this whole story and realized that Kate never bothered to actually check on the health of Elias. He collapsed on the wedding event and lost his memory of her. All this happened just as she stepped one foot outside the engagement party. I think her lack of care and love is why the story ended this way. Elias had his memory wiped clean of her, she got a fresh start to make a good impression. The initial reaction of Elias to her was one of a unbiased party to a complete stranger, which was complete negative. Jerry told Elias that chasing after Kate wasn't worth the effort and Jerry was someone who knew her for a long time. In this whole thing we get a clear picture of how indecisive Kate is and how she brought all of this on her own regardless of if there was a system or not.
But Jerry should have also taken responsibility for marrying Kate and shouldn't have left her after using her because it was Jerry fault that Elias forget his love and Kate who was foolish got stuck in a situation where she was left alone..

Jerry is kinda the hero in this scenario. Saved him from a toxic relationship. Actually did his research and tracked down a woman that legit loves him and even met up with him at the end to toast everything working out with an expensive bottle of wine. Even though he went about it in a shit way he was still a real bro in the end.

I really liked this one. The two male leads are actually goid guy. Both win in the end and they become friends too. Jerry got his wine too. He could have taken a big payment from the family but he didn't want to, but he did take the most expensive bottle of wine in the house and shared it with Elias.
I have nothing but respect for Jerry. Yes he manipulated Kate and May for his goal but unlike Makoto/Tony he did not exactly do it for purely selfish or unreasonable reasons, he wanted to prove himself and achieve a simple but meaningfull dream for him and his parents. As for Kate well she is just stupid and should have accepted the situation

He was under his system, if she did she officialy engaged/married, he'll die even before his cancer did it. At the end of the day, we have three huge winner, MC, Jerry and May. And Kate lost all by herself, she had free choice all along
She wasn’t necessarily evil, but in the end if she chose to stay with she would have gotten a happy ending in this story on 3/4 people would have gotten a happy ending and Kate unfortunately is the one who got the bad ending, in this story one person was destined to get a bad ending so in reality, Kate wasn’t evil but she had to chose between having a good ending, or letting Jerry get the bad ending, but in some sense she definitely did have feelings for Jerry in some way or she secretly liked the attention because noting how when she was talking about his cancer, the first argument she used was” he’s loved me for 7 years” hinting that she doesn’t actually feel negatively towards the way he treats her, but likes the attention, and she thought she could have her cake and eat it to, if you noticed she liked having both of them around, basically kept Jerry around because she loved the attention but she wanted to have Jerry around while having OP, so ultimately she had already started her downfall before she found out the cancer, she had already set herself up to lose, in the end she lost op to Mary, and found out that everything Jerry did for her wasn’t genuine but forced, so when she finally learned the truth, is when she realized she lost everything because she devoted herself to Jerry
What Kate did is called emotional affair she prioritize other man instead of Elias her own husband to be , system or not she's a cheater and deserves everything that happened to her.

I actually somewhat feel bad for this girl. She was targeted by 2 parasitic systems controlling and forcing 2 men to fight over her. And if she knows about one or both of these systems I can totally understand why she'd be so messed up and inclined to try and save the one she hears is going to die. In her mind she basically would have murdered this dude, which is something a rational human wouldn't want on their conscience. At least the MC's System just deleted his memories and called it a day.
Dont really understand why some commenters feel bad for Kate. Given the scenario ( jerrys known system), i want to sympathize with Kate, but its just really not possible. Mainly because she basically refused to compromise/ communicate in any real way. After she opted to stay with Jerry she repeatedly claims to apologize/feel sorry for her actions but immediately puts all the pressure and negativity on MC. Worst, when she doesnt get the "answers" she expects from MC, instead of realizing her mistakes( which she already claimed to have done) she just gets angry and pushes other ppl away further. With all these personality deficiencies, she's just a really toxic partner. On the other hand what Jerry did was perfectly reasonable. He was dying, he knew how he could survive, so even though it was all underhanded methods he pursued it. Cant really blame him for that. Especially considering it turned out he clearly didnt even like the benefits of his (morally bankrupt) actions. The only positive thing i can say about her is that she didnt cheat....but in this case it wasnt about cheating, it was about the fact that she would make a very bad life partner ( honestly any kind of responsibility holding relationship). Yet she willingly deleted them (even without the fantasy mission element), she walked out on her Significant other.
I personally wonder if it wasn't the system testing the whole life vs. Love debate in live conditions. Pitting one who wanted life (Jerry) against one who wanted Love (Elias). And Kate as the unknowing arbiter/judge. Kate chose Life over Love, and ultimately paid. Each lab rat was sufficiently rewarded - Jerry with a new lease on his life and Elias with a new Love, despite his "punishment". Because, truthfully, if he had retained his memories of Kate, he would have eventually forgiven her and reconciled, which would have invalidated the System's test.
Yeah that's for sure. I mean the only real winner is May seeing as she has had a huge crush on Elias and it was answered but other than that everyone else lost here.
Just finished watching, took me 2 sittings because it was so bad. I agree on May winning, Jerry definitely won too though after a few years of suffering. Everybody else in this godforsaken piece of writing lost terribly. Great way to engage an audience.

He is forced to forget Kate and it is not a clean break. The story makes it clear that there is some of Kate left. Which goes back to why May is not actually a winner. Finally the biggest loser is Kate. She was in a unwinnable position. Being manipulated by Jerry and losing Elias. I really can't see Kate as the bad guy in this one.

This a story of principles, morales, ethics, and respect. I it also strongly shows personal responsibility and accountability for ones actions. When Kate walked out, even to "save" A life, she destroyed everything herself. There was no more trust, Elias would be second guessing everything she ever did, her choices ,plans, all of it. The ML system really protected his interests only, after all what we want may not be the best thing for us. Although I would have told Jerry after he sat down to explain , when your done talking don't cross my path again. After all while it wasn't painful for me at that point, due to the loss of memory of Kate and all of our shared events.... Jerry had still destroyed what had been my and her free choices, so he would have to be accountable for his actions. And I would be planning how to survive the repercussions of my principles if I had to take such actions. This is "Face" or the true cost of responsibility and duty of a man.

I think the writing of the story and the character Kate was actually much worse than I imagined after I took my pause at 15 minutes. To respond directly to what we were talking about, I now don't care about the system in relation to Kate herself. She made a decision to betray ALL her loved ones and kept making increasingly worse decisions to harm them ALL as time went by. I do understand and appreciate your empathy for her. I want to write more but it's bed time, and I don't want to hijack your thread. Lol. I have a few more of this channels stories queued but I don't know if I can go through with it, very disappointed.
Tbh, Elias was at fault here. He never thought about tell his FIANCE about HIS system and it's penalities. If they had organized well nothing bad would've happen.

I mean...try to put yourself in her situation: delay the wedding for a few days, or live with the guilt to let a friend die alone. People would talk behind her back, she herself would have dark thoughts about it. It's something that would probly need therapy to solve. Meanwhile, the thing that really screwed their relationship was the fact that he forgot her and lost all his feelings for her, and she thought he was faking it and had threw her away. If she knew he had really lost his memories then, I believe, she would've probly understood and fought for their relationship instead of going through a self-destructive path. Yo, I actually don't hate Jerry and love how this story played out. He wasn't really an asshole, he was just a man doing what he had to in order not to die. He figured things out himself and realized what happened to the protag and decided in the end to have an amicable relationship. Considering Protag has no memory of his first love, there are no issues and no suffering. The brief heartbreak at the beginning was sad but once his memory was gone all was great.

I think the reason kate the female lead broke the engagement party was because she was afraid of losing her simps as you mentioned. Marrying the ML would mean that she was no longer chased by two simps and so the view of her own value would decrease. She loved being chased by all of them. throughout the whole story she is trying to keep that house of cards together. In the end Kate bought a simp bf she could order around, because that is who she always was. Even wanting to be with the male lead was a competition with the secondary female lead who eventually became the wife of the male lead. I dont think Kate ever truly loved any of them, it was just possessiveness.
You know what's the cruelest, devastating and despair way can happen. What if the system decides to screw everyone over like change OP back when he was in love with Kate, or screw Jerry to have lung cancer or alternate reality back the it was. OP is in love with Kate and still married to May. Kate would've been a nice person before all of this happened. Then again Kate was really the one who shaped the reality by her decision. If she stay with OP without getting involved with Jerry then OP and kate would have a happy ending with Jerry to his downfall and never met May. The two families will be happy. There's one person still knew about the system, it's Jerry. He knew it and was in tag of war in order to survive with Kate's decision. Since Kate's decision tipped on Jerry's favor which alternate OP'S perception. Clearly Jerry is the key winner in the story. The question is: who is the real OP? Who is OP'S true love? No matter what, one person will have a bad ending and the rest will have a good ending based on Kate's decision which led her to her doom. Her fate was sealed the moment she was manipulated by Jerry. This is one of the complicated scenarios I'm sure neither of us, the audience wants to be in. Maybe there are multiple timelines out there.

Mmmm only felt bad for Elias. Jerry's punishment was death and Elias was to forget Kate. Just from that you can see that Jerry did it for himself, yes he got reminders and was practically forced by the system but could confess from the beginning about having a system and ask her to marry him with a prenuptial agreement, the mission wasn't even for her to fall in love with him, just marry him.

I agree Kate was wrong, but Jerry could have given a better explanation, and Elias, too. But considering the start, I guess it was not possible, nobody said anything about it. In the end, everyone was a victim. If Kate didn't marry Jerry, then he would have died too, so this was the best outcome. The only one I consider did something wrong is Elias at the start. He could have explained it to her if he knew about the punishment. They could have found some kind of loophole to avoid Jeery losing his life, and Elias his memories. The problem was she "running for Jerry", I mean, he had 1 month, so she was hasty and this happened. I consider this story bittersweet, but I didn't say it was bad. I liked it.
tbh I find this story weird. The MC loses his memory of his fiancee, but later on he still behaves as if he still remember being cheated by her and the resentment is still there. If he truly loses his memory, he should lose his resentment towards jerry and his ex while acting curious because he doesn't know her anymore. If the story is about cheating, he should be open to another woman as if he is still single after he loses his memory.

She betrayed her life long loved one for what she was thinking was to add a month to a stalkers life, KNOWINGLY humiliating her future husband and both families and removing a month of their lives with them .....only trick was she was actually deleting decades of Elias life. (perhaps its hidden isekai)..... and then he told Elias directly about the system and sub consciously Elias understand and agree.... my only hope the end of story Elias and Jerry got more scene that they be best friend and Elias helping him rebuild his life.... i like the story, the plot twist (Jerry also connected to the system), the emotional roller coaster (at first i despise Jerry, but after he bravely reveal the system to Ellias, then finally marry and divorce Kate just to end the system... make me like him... i hope more bromance honestly)... about Kate... she's total idiot, the first engagement scene really show how idiot she is, no matter the reason, she can never do that, Jerry's life is his problem alone, and she dont have any reason to did what she did. Moreover she already have respobsibility to Elias due to their long connection and commitment, Even Ellias already want to compromise (though hurt him alot) but she still did the idiot thing. She deserve the fate. Although she's only a character, but it seems it potentially can happen in real life... i've heard real story about a bride "switch side" in the last momment in marriage just for silly reason that hard to be understand (i believe its all about emotion). Women work mostly with emotion, thats make them potentially do the unpredictable... Good Story... good job...!!!
Kate is a cheater (at least emotionally) regardless. Nobody forced her to abandon Elias. She made a choice her choice to abandon Elias. She is not kind and she just wants to eat several cakes. She is not Jerry any significant others. Cannot really blame Jerry since he wanted to survive. Kate and the System are the villains. Kate is just a weirdo. she's the bad guy. no one force her to abandon her own fiance in an engagement party, no one forced her to treat her own fiance like a garbage, and no one forced her to marry Jerry. She chose to do it all, people advised her not to, but she do all of it out of her own free will. That made her "The BAD GUY". she chose every single wrong choices with her free will in a sane mind.

Can't help but think Kate got done a litle dirty here. She seems to really only ever have wanted the MC and it was siple compassion that did her in. She didn't do everything perfectly but, the outcome here seems a bit harsh.
Both Elias and Jerry were bound by a system that force them to a task which is to win over Kate. For Elias it was supposed to be simpler because he was her childhood friend and sincerely loved her which originally led to their engagement while for Jerry he never loved Kate but needed to win her over a time frame while the penality for failure will be to die by cancer cause by his system while for Elias his penality was simply to completly erase Kate existence in his memory to the point he geniuly consider Juddy as the only daughter of Mr. Lu and Mm. Wang. Basically both were bound by a system with the same task but with rewards and penality differents where one will be cured of cancer if succesful but die if he fail while the other will lose memory of the girl and the sysyem if he fail which explained why we do nkt know the reward if he had successfully win Kate over.
The story was good but i still hated it. A system that literally sounds like it was only meant to harm Kate. My other issue was that if everyone is telling you you were with someone and you do not remember then you would normally try to see if you might feel the same way by spending time with them again and maybe remember or it would be like a second chance instead because of a supposed system that was only mentioned for like a minute forced him and another against each other over a woman who would be the looser in the end anyways. Either someone tried to over think their story or just really wanted to hate on someone and not explain any real background. for a short story its one thing but it still makes me hate it cause there were things that should have been explained like if there was some fucked up system in place others should know about it right. Story literally sounds like it was made to just dump everything on one girl who was not even really crazy till the MC stopped remembering her and their past. If anything it made me wish jerry would complete his mission but still die in the end for ruining a couple who were happy until the system took over. Feels like half the light novels that get posted on youtube are rush jobs as well but then again why does something that only last an hour need to be complete instead of rush to the end.
The system wasn't setup to harm Kate. She had ONE soul that was devoted to her and she was devoted to, she picked another one and dictated Elias must wait. I have only watched 15mins and that's my impression 😅

The system is the true villain here. Jerry told Kate about his system long time ago and Kate now believed about it. ML confirmed it too lol. Kate did not know the consequences of choosing ML over Jerry and thought she can save a person and come back to ML. Actually I won’t blame anyone but the writer of this story, probably AI. The story is a mess. You cannot really villainize a character when the consequences are real. I would accepted it if Jerry is an asshole and does not have his own system, but he is also a victim here. He can die if he fail his mission. If Kate was faithful to her lover, the good guy Jerry would have died. I don’t like this story lol.

I will start by saying I cannot recommend this story and find it to be so awful and poorly constructed, I had to take a break before finishing it. With that said, does anybody have a solid reccomendation for a story on this channel for me that's not 100% nonsensical betrayal and misery? The author or whatever wrote this story is supposedly giving us a tragedy, instead we are subjected to a FULL 50 minutes of a betrayed fiance's view of being cuckolded by his self riteous Queen and a Wish villian. It's so bad that the fiance knowingly helps the villain in atleast 2 instances to harm every loved one that's loyally supported him. Truly horrible characters and developments. Even the final main character (May) that should be the happiest and purest of intentions by the end didn't escape the sheer stupidity of the writing by making her part of Wish Villians manipulation. Guess what? She didn't need to be tainted by this as simply being there for the school event would have allowed her to meet the MC anyway....what an uncessecary waste of drama. The problem to call any of the "good parts" or the end as being "happy" for Elias is an insult to the viewer. We know this isn't a happy situation and what transpired even if the plot decided he has no memories. I had a much larger rant imagined, regarding the massive plot holes and contradictory character actions but have just decided to end this post here. I thought about this whole story and realized that Kate never bothered to actually check on the health of Elias. He collapsed on the wedding event and lost his memory of her. All this happened just as she stepped one foot outside the engagement party. I think her lack of care and love is why the story ended this way. Elias had his memory wiped clean of her, she got a fresh start to make a good impression. The initial reaction of Elias to her was one of a unbiased party to a complete stranger, which was complete negative. Jerry told Elias that chasing after Kate wasn't worth the effort and Jerry was someone who knew her for a long time. In this whole thing we get a clear picture of how indecisive Kate is and how she brought all of this on her own regardless of if there was a system or not.

I really liked this one. The two male leads are actually goid guy. Both win in the end and they become friends too. Jerry got his wine too. He could have taken a big payment from the family but he didn't want to, but he did take the most expensive bottle of wine in the house and shared it with Elias.

I have nothing but respect for Jerry. Yes he manipulated Kate and May for his goal but unlike Makoto/Tony he did not exactly do it for purely selfish or unreasonable reasons, he wanted to prove himself and achieve a simple but meaningfull dream for him and his parents. She wasn’t necessarily evil, but in the end if she chose to stay with she would have gotten a happy ending in this story on 3/4 people would have gotten a happy ending and Kate unfortunately is the one who got the bad ending, in this story one person was destined to get a bad ending so in reality, Kate wasn’t evil but she had to chose between having a good ending, or letting Jerry get the bad ending, but in some sense she definitely did have feelings for Jerry in some way or she secretly liked the attention because noting how when she was talking about his cancer, the first argument she used was” he’s loved me for 7 years” hinting that she doesn’t actually feel negatively towards the way he treats her, but likes the attention, and she thought she could have her cake and eat it to, if you noticed she liked having both of them around, basically kept Jerry around because she loved the attention but she wanted to have Jerry around while having OP, so ultimately she had already started her downfall before she found out the cancer, she had already set herself up to lose, in the end she lost op to Mary, and found out that everything Jerry did for her wasn’t genuine but forced, so when she finally learned the truth, is when she realized she lost everything because she devoted herself to Jerry

Dont really understand why some commenters feel bad for Kate. Given the scenario ( jerrys known system), i want to sympathize with Kate, but its just really not possible. Mainly because she basically refused to compromise/ communicate in any real way. After she opted to stay with Jerry she repeatedly claims to apologize/feel sorry for her actions but immediately puts all the pressure and negativity on MC. Worst, when she doesnt get the "answers" she expects from MC, instead of realizing her mistakes( which she already claimed to have done) she just gets angry and pushes other ppl away further. With all these personality deficiencies, she's just a really toxic partner. On the other hand what Jerry did was perfectly reasonable. He was dying, he knew how he could survive, so even though it was all underhanded methods he pursued it. Cant really blame him for that. Especially considering it turned out he clearly didnt even like the benefits of his (morally bankrupt) actions. I personally wonder if it wasn't the system testing the whole life vs. Love debate in live conditions. Pitting one who wanted life (Jerry) against one who wanted Love (Elias). And Kate as the unknowing arbiter/judge. Kate chose Life over Love, and ultimately paid. Each lab rat was sufficiently rewarded - Jerry with a new lease on his life and Elias with a new Love, despite his "punishment". Because, truthfully, if he had retained his memories of Kate, he would have eventually forgiven her and reconciled, which would have invalidated the System's test.

Finally the biggest loser is Kate. She was in a unwinnable position. Being manipulated by Jerry and losing Elias. I really can't see Kate as the bad guy in this one.

This a story of principles, morales, ethics, and respect. I it also strongly shows personal responsibility and accountability for ones actions. When Kate walked out, even to "save" A life, she destroyed everything herself. There was no more trust, Elias would be second guessing everything she ever did, her choices ,plans, all of it. The ML system really protected his interests only, after all what we want may not be the best thing for us.
Although I would have told Jerry after he sat down to explain , when your done talking don't cross my path again. After all while it wasn't painful for me at that point, due to the loss of memory of Kate and all of our shared events.... Jerry had still destroyed what had been my and her free choices, so he would have to be accountable for his actions. And I would be planning how to survive the repercussions of my principles if I had to take such actions. This is "Face" or the true cost of responsibility and duty of a man.

Yo, I actually don't hate Jerry and love how this story played out. He wasn't really an asshole, he was just a man doing what he had to in order not to die. He figured things out himself and realized what happened to the protag and decided in the end to have an amicable relationship.
Considering Protag has no memory of his first love, there are no issues and no suffering. The brief heartbreak at the beginning was sad but once his memory was gone all was great.

I think the reason kate the female lead broke the engagement party was because she was afraid of losing her simps as you mentioned. Marrying the ML would mean that she was no longer chased by two simps and so the view of her own value would decrease. She loved being chased by all of them. throughout the whole story she is trying to keep that house of cards together. In the end Kate bought a simp bf she could order around, because that is who she always was. Even wanting to be with the male lead was a competition with the secondary female lead who eventually became the wife of the male lead. I dont think Kate ever truly loved any of them, it was just possessiveness.

You know what's the cruelest, devastating and despair way can happen. What if the system decides to screw everyone over like change OP back when he was in love with Kate, or screw Jerry to have lung cancer or alternate reality back the it was. OP is in love with Kate and still married to May.
Kate would've been a nice person before all of this happened. Then again Kate was really the one who shaped the reality by her decision. If she stay with OP without getting involved with Jerry then OP and kate would have a happy ending with Jerry to his downfall and never met May. The two families will be happy.
There's one person still knew about the system, it's Jerry. He knew it and was in tag of war in order to survive with Kate's decision. Since Kate's decision tipped on Jerry's favor which alternate OP'S perception. Clearly Jerry is the key winner in the story.
The question is: who is the real OP? Who is OP'S true love?
No matter what, one person will have a bad ending and the rest will have a good ending based on Kate's decision which led her to her doom. Her fate was sealed the moment she was manipulated by Jerry. This is one of the complicated scenarios I'm sure neither of us, the audience wants to be in. Maybe there are multiple timelines out there.

Just from that you can see that Jerry did it for himself, yes he got reminders and was practically forced by the system but could confess from the beginning about having a system and ask her to marry him with a prenuptial agreement, the mission wasn't even for her to fall in love with him, just marry him.

I agree Kate was wrong, but Jerry could have given a better explanation, and Elias, too. But considering the start, I guess it was not possible, nobody said anything about it. In the end, everyone was a victim. If Kate didn't marry Jerry, then he would have died too, so this was the best outcome.
The only one I consider did something wrong is Elias at the start. He could have explained it to her if he knew about the punishment. They could have found some kind of loophole to avoid Jeery losing his life, and Elias his memories. The problem was she "running for Jerry", I mean, he had 1 month, so she was hasty and this happened.

tbh I find this story weird. The MC loses his memory of his fiancee, but later on he still behaves as if he still remember being cheated by her and the resentment is still there. If he truly loses his memory, he should lose his resentment towards jerry and his ex while acting curious because he doesn't know her anymore. If the story is about cheating, he should be open to another woman as if he is still single after he loses his memory.

There is no villian here. If anythinf Kate just wanted to marry her love guilt free. Can you imagind marrying someone and knowing that because of it you killed someone too? There would be a little voice always in the back of your head, "you killed that boy, and he just wanted to live". She went about it the wrong way but i mean so did all of them honestly.

Damn. This is a messed up story; Elias, Jerry and Kate all were victims of some warped system that forced them to do things they didn’t want to do; like some sick game. Honestly I felt so bad for all of them. ☹️
Kate was not forced to do a single thing. She betrayed her life long loved one for what she was thinking was to add a month to a stalkers life, KNOWINGLY humiliating her future husband and both families and removing a month of their lives with them .....only trick was she was actually deleting decades of Elias life.
I feel by the time I finish watching this, the real victims here will be the audience. 😅

(perhaps its hidden isekai)..... and then he told Elias directly about the system and sub consciously Elias understand and agree.... my only hope the end of story Elias and Jerry got more scene that they be best friend and Elias helping him rebuild his life.... i like the story, the plot twist (Jerry also connected to the system), the emotional roller coaster (at first i despise Jerry, but after he bravely reveal the system to Ellias, then finally marry and divorce Kate just to end the system... make me like him... i hope more bromance honestly)... about Kate... she's total idiot, the first engagement scene really show how idiot she is, no matter the reason, she can never do that, Jerry's life is his problem alone, and she dont have any reason to did what she did. Moreover she already have respobsibility to Elias due to their long connection and commitment, Even Ellias already want to compromise (though hurt him alot) but she still did the idiot thing. She deserve the fate. Although she's only a character, but it seems it potentially can happen in real life... i've heard real story about a bride "switch side" in the last momment in marriage just for silly reason that hard to be understand (i believe its all about emotion). Women work mostly with emotion, thats make them potentially do the unpredictable... Good Story... good job...!!!

Kate is a cheater (at least emotionally) regardless. Nobody forced her to abandon Elias. She made a choice her choice to abandon Elias. She is not kind and she just wants to eat several cakes. She is not Jerry any significant others. Cannot really blame Jerry since he wanted to survive. Kate and the System are the villains. Kate is just a weirdo. Glad that Elias dodged a bullet and ended with May.
Why is Kate the bad guy? She didn't deserve any of this, and neither does May.
she's the bad guy. no one force her to abandon her own fiance in an engagement party, no one forced her to treat her own fiance like a garbage, and no one forced her to marry Jerry. She chose to do it all, people advised her not to, but she do all of it out of her own free will.

Both Elias and Jerry were bound by a system that force them to a task which is to win over Kate. For Elias it was supposed to be simpler because he was her childhood friend and sincerely loved her which originally led to their engagement while for Jerry he never loved Kate but needed to win her over a time frame while the penality for failure will be to die by cancer cause by his system while for Elias his penality was simply to completly erase Kate existence in his memory to the point he geniuly consider Juddy as the only daughter of Mr. Lu and Mm. Wang. Basically both were bound by a system with the same task but with rewards and penality differents where one will be cured of cancer if succesful but die if he fail while the other will lose memory of the girl and the sysyem if he fail which explained why we do nkt know the reward if he had successfully win Kate over.

The story was good but i still hated it. A system that literally sounds like it was only meant to harm Kate. My other issue was that if everyone is telling you you were with someone and you do not remember then you would normally try to see if you might feel the same way by spending time with them again and maybe remember or it would be like a second chance instead because of a supposed system that was only mentioned for like a minute forced him and another against each other over a woman who would be the looser in the end anyways. Either someone tried to over think their story or just really wanted to hate on someone and not explain any real background. for a short story its one thing but it still makes me hate it cause there were things that should have been explained like if there was some fucked up system in place others should know about it right. Story literally sounds like it was made to just dump everything on one girl who was not even really crazy till the MC stopped remembering her and their past. If anything it made me wish jerry would complete his mission but still die in the end for ruining a couple who were happy until the system took over. Feels like half the light novels that get posted on youtube are rush jobs as well but then again why does something that only last an hour need to be complete instead of rush to the end.
The system wasn't setup to harm Kate. She had ONE soul that was devoted to her and she was devoted to, she picked another one and dictated Elias must wait. I have only watched 15mins and that's my impression 😅

The real victim here is Jerry he fight to survive the cruel system as for Elias he's lucky to dodge a bullet called Kate and at least he has a kind system that spared him from a broken heart after all you can't love what you can't remember this make him become indifferent to Kate . The real winner here is May who's got her wish granted to be with her long-term crush Elias.

There's too much hate on here for Kate and not enough for Jerry. She was just trying to save a life, how was she supposed to know his life wasn't worth saving. Meanwhile Jerry knew dam well what he was doing and once he got whay he wanted he was more than happy to leave what ever mess he left behind and start again. The fact that MC had no problem with that either made me furious as well. Definitely not a story I will listen to ever again.

The system is the true villain here. Jerry told Kate about his system long time ago and Kate now believed about it. ML confirmed it too lol. Kate did not know the consequences of choosing ML over Jerry and thought she can save a person and come back to ML.
Actually I won’t blame anyone but the writer of this story, probably AI. The story is a mess. You cannot really villainize a character when the consequences are real. I would accepted it if Jerry is an asshole and does not have his own system, but he is also a victim here. He can die if he fail his mission. If Kate was faithful to her lover, the good guy Jerry would have died. I don’t like this story lol.

I will start by saying I cannot recommend this story and find it to be so awful and poorly constructed, I had to take a break before finishing it.
With that said, does anybody have a solid reccomendation for a story on this channel for me that's not 100% nonsensical betrayal and misery?
The author or whatever wrote this story is supposedly giving us a tragedy, instead we are subjected to a FULL 50 minutes of a betrayed fiance's view of being cuckolded by his self riteous Queen and a Wish villian. It's so bad that the fiance knowingly helps the villain in atleast 2 instances to harm every loved one that's loyally supported him. Truly horrible characters and developments.
Even the final main character (May) that should be the happiest and purest of intentions by the end didn't escape the sheer stupidity of the writing by making her part of Wish Villians manipulation. Guess what? She didn't need to be tainted by this as simply being there for the school event would have allowed her to meet the MC anyway....what an uncessecary waste of drama.
The problem to call any of the "good parts" or the end as being "happy" for Elias is an insult to the viewer. We know this isn't a happy situation and what transpired even if the plot decided he has no memories.
I had a much larger rant imagined, regarding the massive plot holes and contradictory character actions but have just decided to end this post here.
