My cousin and I made paper flowers 🌸 as young children I can still remember the fun of designing them glueing in the stamens on florist wire …Sadly my Cousin Loretta passed away this spring she was about the same age as Me I will greatly miss her but I have beautiful memories we grew up In Boston Massachusetts …..Thank you for bringing back cherished childhood memories 💗💐

Thankyou So! It’s been incredibly hot hasn’t it! These videos have made it a lovely festive time though.. . Sending garlands of Summer roses swinging from pink clouds! 🤗🌸✨💗☁️🫧
I love your watercolor videos! I equally miss all your journal & planner videos. They gave me so much inspiration on how to use my notebooks/ journals. The blue journal reminded me of them 🤗💕
Thankyou So! I’ll definitely think about that! {For anyone who doesn’t know, there are planner videos over on my other channel ‘her billowing heart’ } I might try & do an update on the planners soon, I’ve also been thinking about making some more art journal type books like I used to so I’ll definitely put it on the list! 🤗🌬️🌷🌸💗🎨🦩
Aww Thankyou So! hehe yes Millie loves to chew plants! She’s only allowed the hydrangea bushes & long grass but tries to eat everything else as well 😅 have a wonderful week! 🤗✨🎨🌸💗
your color palettes always blow me away! I am still very new to watercolor, so coming here inspires me so much! Lately, I have been loving gouache- I will do a base and fill in more details with colored pencils, Neo color II's and some other materials- its so satisfying to run the pencils over the matte gouache....very different approach than watercolor, but I actually like both mediums and would never give either up for the other! I tried acrylic gouache and really didn't take to it at all- I really need that water soluble effect.
Aww Thankyou! The nice thing about the color mixing is that the mixes can basically be used in any medium! I’m actually really inspired by your technique! I’ve been collecting some gouache which I’ll share in a haul soon, it’s one I’ve never tried before so we’ll see how it goes, but I really love the royal talens gouache & I’ve heard Schmincke has a beautiful one but haven’t tried it yet, {also Holbein} do you have a favorite? Or a favorite mix of gouache with certain pencils or color combos? I also love the idea of putting the Neocolors on top too, I’m still experimenting with those.. . Thankyou for all that yummy Inspo! 🤗💗🌬️🌷🌸🎨🫧🥳
@@eaupoetique I haven't tried the Royal Talens yet but I really love the Holbein artist gouache-especially the Irodori colors- more than Winsor Newton artist gouache so far..And you inspired my color palette when I discovered your channel last year! So lots of the muted colors, tons of green mixes- I am super into landscapes now as they are so much easier than anything too detailed (for me anyway!) with the gouache pencils combo- I have been using mainly luminance and Derwent lightfast pencils- the pink white luminance is great for lightening up dark areas! Holbein's pencil in the ivory white is also fantastic...But I have to say Forest and Spruce green of the Lightfast range are my favorite colors! I can't wait to see what you do with gouache! I love watercolor and won't give that up for anything, but the gouache is super fun too. Hope your landscape course comes out soon too- can't wait!!
Ok I’m putting some irodori colors on the wishlist! Ooh I love the pink white luminance! I feel like I use the oyster lightfast more but love them both equally! & forest & spruce! I feel like I’ve been trying to choose between those & a pine & now I see, both is acceptable hehe Thankyou for so many wonderful suggestions! I do love a good chat about supplies! {I’ll have to look up the ivory white as well! I just found a Michael Harding warm white watercolor that looks like an ivory yellow & think Ill be trying that out as well! Have a gorgeous week! 🌬️🎨🫧🎪🌸
@@eaupoetique I haven't tried Michael Harding yet! hope you show us when you get it! Supplies are a whole other subject- I have a problem 😂. It's even more dangerous now that Jackson's has a warehouse here in the states in Maine-dangerous! Ha-my cart has a bunch of stuff in it as we speak!
