I have the same one on my hoist. Luckily mine has 3rd and 4th. My thought is it’s not worth much now, but they will be in the future. They drive so nice and comfortable cruiser, great engine, great visibility and solid interior and reliability. They are a boxy design in contrast to all the bubbles on the road.

$800 is a steal! 😍The suspension and steering components are a piece of cake to replace. A good interior detail would go a long ways - and swapping in a Becker head unit with Bluetooth. The outside already has a great patina 🤣Not an E500E, but still a really well built car. I'm mostly done with a 1987 300D restore (425k miles) and the car responded great to love and care.

I had the opportunity to buy one of those (500E) with less than 100k miles for under $10,000 around 10 years ago and I turned it down, not knowing the value. That was stupid.😢😢😢😂😂😂😂

That would've been a great buy! Sadly this is just a 420 and not worth much.
