Red Knight I think there is a lot of confusion with what is being reported and what certain areas call spice. In certain areas, spice refers to a synthetic cannabis which I agree, it's not cannabis. It is however in those areas, a synthetic cannabis, which means it is suppose to mimic cannabis and is molecularly similar to THC however it is not actually thc. There are areas which sell, "spice" but it's actually a completely different synthetic with a completely different high.

I was smoking it for a few months, a few years ago. It was dirt cheap, think £10 for 1g. Which sounds about the same as cannibis here but it was so powerful I would just need the tiniest bit in cigarette to feel like 1 normal/heavy joint. I'd put so little in that if it was weed you wouldn't even feel it. Roll more than that and the stuff turns you hot and cold, pale then you hit the deck. Rolling a joint of that like it's normal green is lethal. I too noticed some negative effects to my mental health and seemed somewhat addicting. Edit: don't mix with any amount of booze, bad things..

Not sure if legal weed would prevent the use of this. I smoke dispensary weed pretty much daily (and have been smoking for almost 35 years) and have never experienced the effects spice provides. Someone seeking the sort of disconnect a spice high can give you will need more than the strongest indica. Just like legal heroin wouldn't turn everyone into junkies, legal weed won't turn junkies into potheads. If you took weed away tomorrow, I wouldn't start drinking.
These people have problems that were there long before they started smoking spice. Take away spice, they'll sniff glue or solvents. Sometimes I think the most complete solution is to lock them up in some encampment and give them all the drugs they want. It would be nice to think you can help and save all these junkies but you'd be more effective trying to push back waves at the beach.

Spice was very, very cheap and offered a high level of escapism, so the people who wanted to hide from reality because of their issues or memories, ended up loving it and that's why it became such an epidemic, spice became really big around 6-7 year ago and covid happened in 2019. GARY171064 why is it? Short of paying the taxes they are supposed to, what else are they supposed to do? And yes the rich avoid paying as much as possible but government shudnt make it so easy to do so. Football clubs do a lot for the youth in their areas anyway and donate a fair bit to charity too but the services these homeless spice heads need are provided by the NHS and local authorities. If they are underfunded, (and they are) that's bad, but the tax system is how these clubs and big companies contribute to those things. That and creating jobs in the local area. So many ppl are employed directly or indirectly by these clubs. Not just players, coaches etc but physiotherapists, sports psychologists, stewards who work the stadiums on match days, cleaners, caterers, ppl in the official club shops and the stimulus to the local economy. I understand the juxtaposition of such wealth and poverty is hard to stomach but it's really not up to the rich to deal with homelessness spice heads.

When it comes to spice, the legal alternative to cannabis, the plant derivative of spice, Salvia divinorum is quite safe in itself. And is one hell of a trip. But the spice that sold commercially has dangerous chemicals in it to make it stronger, and that's what gives you that tingling kind of dizzy High

I'm really interested in the precise physiological effects of this stuff. I tried it two times back in my stupider days and the effects really are similar to thc just thousands of times more potent. But not in the level that can be reached by smoking a lot of weed. You would get very anxious and pass out at worse on high amounts of weed. But this shit ten folds the effects of thc. Wonder how differently it interacts with the cannabinoid receptors.

I felt woop paranoid and .. It's a 10x stronger than weed plus u get nastier effects than weed. Other times I smoked I didn't feel anything. Then other times I smoked it, i felt like I was dead and stupid.. Like I can't control how I act.. Aha so glad I quit that cfap

I am in my 40s and have used all drugs I could find since the age of 13(I was an undiagnosed schizophrenic who just wanted the voices to stop) and I remember doing a YTS scheme in Newcastle upon Tyne and there was a hippy(think they call them head shops nowadays) shop that sold a lot of legal highs and me and a couple others on the course worked our way through his list, I remember spice being on that price list and described as "similar to cannabis", but cannabis was the only drug that made my mental problems worse, so I never tried it, though one of my friends did and said it was rubbish. I think they've known how to make it for a long time, but only just perfected it to the super-strength shit you see people zombieing out on

If it's not legal,it cant be controlled. The biggest mistake was banning this substance. It's probably a lot stronger, know it's in the hands of dealers. I never heard of,nor seen anyone like this when you could buy it from legal high shops. Dealers make it stronger and more addictive. Make all drugs legal, and control them so they are safer. It's the only way to help people who get into difficulties when using drugs.

Oh NO! The character from Demon's Souls on the PS3 ended up hooked on Spice. At first it was just to help regenerate mana to cast spells. Fresh Spice recovered 50 mana points and helped him forget the harshness of being in Demonic world. But soon, oh how horribly soon, his Spice addiction took a turn for the worse. He found Old Spice, and after a few hits, not only did he have a full magic bar, he now WAS the demon. Killing innocent Tower of Latria Jailers with streams of fire, and anorexic skeletons in the shrine of storms with rays made of innocent souls. He was a full blown Spice addict. No longer was backstabbing fun to him, as he loved spice so much he couldn't stop. Long before Estus addiction there was Spice addiction. And and night, he smoked Dark Moon Grass to help him sleep easier. Dank Souls it is.
