Minimum focus distances are defined/specified from the sensor plane to the minimum focus point - not from the front of the lens. For a very short focal length lens stopped down a bit pretty much everything from a few feet to infinity will be in focus. Finally very few wide angle lenses have provisions for filters on the front.
Wacky! I just started watching but I actually find for anyone using fisheye lenses on Lumix cameras the E Stabilization is best turned off and just use IBIS which is the opposite of other wide angle lenses

I’ve had this lens for a couple of years on my S1H and now S5iix. Think of it like a way of getting GoPro footage that’s actually good enough to use.
