The jumps with lots of flips and rotations are too technical imho, the onces playing chicken with the water surface are the coolest, like 31:43 and 58:34 and 2:15:33
Is it possible to participate in this event next year without participating in possible qualifying events? Also, how dangerous is this without having any training? Honest question
i'm starting to get into Dods, it's a really cool sport, but I see overly subjective judging messing people's motivation to take this sport seriously in terms of competition, so you have to sort it out some way, and try to at least introduce some sort of transparent criteria, or better yet where judges have to explain themselves. Ofc it'll always have subjective side to it, but thee needs to be some transparency cus the competitors might not understand why they got a score that they got, and public is mostly confused, most of the time. Anyway would really like for this sport to get somewhere.
so what is this basically? typical-14 year old-boys-doing-dangerous-jackass-cliffjumping-thing now professionally (pardon my saying I see there are also ladies doing it there, but where I‘m from that is how I know it and still see it in summertime at lake swimming sides, river patrol always ready to the rescue😮), anyway my respect for the courage doing that
Turning the camera to audience & fellow athlete reaction even while the action is on is very stupid. Camera should remain on athlete until they come out of water
