- Watch me work through a new list of issues, as i try to make a profit by fixing and selling my latest car. This time it's a BMW E83 X3 SD, which is the twin turbo version of the mighty M57 6 cylinder diesel engine. The trouble is that it turns out to be such a nice car, i don't want to part with it!
Epic video! Loved the diagram for the boost and twin turbo explanation! I am subscribed!
Really enjoyed the video..
Perfect amount of detail in this video. You have a new subscriber.
Helpful and entertaining video
Even if 99% of what you said went over my head, still a great instructional video on fault finding. Love the fact all your testing was with a basic vaccumn guage, nothing fancy.
Surprised you said having glow plug faults had minimal effect on cold start performance on such a big car. Every diesel I've owned has been a pig to start with dead plugs.
Come on Ben, more content please!
What a brilliant video. Informative and entertaining. Hope you find the issue soon and sell the car for a profit. You've got yourself a new fan in me 👍
I'm an E83 3.0d owner and ive had blocked dpf and vac line issues. Ive had my car about 12years and its an 07, now on 160k.
Thanks for taking the time to share this valuable information. The devil is in the detail. Keep up the good work 😊
also check your boostpipe and the big tube above on the throtlehouse common problem and also has the same mark about no boost at low range grtz
Nice and informative video. Do more.
I had the same issue with my recently purchased 3.0sd X5. Look for boost leaks on pipework. I replaced the seals on the pipes to and from the intercooler and it fixed my issue.
Well done for finally admitting you have a problem…😂😂
