"I can't drive a 570 because it makes me feel poor". Wow. Totally discounts everything else said in the video.
and he has a Mclaren hat on SmH
I had to replay that because couldn't believe anyone could be such a crass twat. But, yep, this douche really said it.
You said it, unsubscribed after that comment
He needs a car that makes him feel tall.
@@_VelociDad Hahaha...real D bag
Title of Video shows a monthly price but the video itself does not discuss anything relative to that. Maybe the Video title should be revised. Other than that it was informative
if you want a mclaren you NEED to properly finance it. put $100k down minimum to get near $400 monthly.
i own one and i love it. this kid in the video took 10mins to say, "get a used mclaren they're 100k cheaper than new ones."
everything else was word salad.
if you want to simply drive one for a year just lease one.
Missing the point of a car hack
It’s not what you pay monthly while owning it….
It’s what you have paid monthly AFTER you sell it. Ex 3 years driving, 36 months
~$15,000 is how much you can sell for less than you paid and that would be about $400/month to have drove it
@@jaronco uhhh ever heard of interest? 8% on the car at a $2,300 payment is a large amount lol if you think you can get your car at $400 monthly without a 100k downpayment you never bought a car..
@@joeman123964huh? He’s talking about the amount you spent over the course of owning it, not the amount the bank says you owe monthly
If i buy a car for 50k, owe 1k a month, and sell it a year later for 45k, i essentially only spent 5k to own it for a year. Even though i paid 12 grand in payments and potentially whatever else i had to put down, i only come out of pocket 5k + the interest after everything is said and done
@@DnaTechnologyInc what? no my friend.
a year later you would spend 12k and not even recieve any money back from selling it. if the car was 50k after taxes and fees you would be financing around 60k or so.
each payment of 1k only $100-$120 will go to principle on the car. the rest literally goes to interest. (profits for bank)
after a year you spent $12,000.
you will just do that. nothing else. he was talking about owning the vehicle not wasting money on never owning a vehicle.
besides, we're talking $140k here.
you might as well lease the mclaren at that point. payments would be easy above $2,000 monthly.
@DnaTechnologyInc my guy... you need to learn how to balance a checkbook.
50k purchase price, 12k in payments, sold for 45k.
This means you paid 12k and you still owed 43k on the car (50k loan 72 months, 6.75% apr, 0 down; look up an amortization schedule) so you paid 10k to drive the car for a year, not 5k. Literally double. 😂
A year ago I bought a 570s for 146k --
(I didn't follow this video intentionally BUT I will say that this video is very accurate) --
I've had no issues with the car. Rare MSO options / Elite color spec and 24k miles
The milage was pretty high, but in some cases its a good thing as a car shouldn't sit when its several years old.
a little bit higher milage can go a long way to have good car reliability in the long run.
Cars are made to be driven
What do you do for work if you don’t mind me asking
There is something these ‘new moneys’ hate, being seen as poor, because they were once poor.
Thanks for this review PJ. The Fresh and Fit podcast was amazing 🔥
Thanks for listening
Last time i checked 220 minus 80 was 140 not 160?
until it breaks and costs $3k at the dealer for simple electrical issues. Mclarens are beautiful but my god they are not reliable!

Enjoyed the video. Beautifully spec'd 570S. Looks like maybe Silica White. Exact car I have except I do have the track pack you mentioned with the P1 buckets and the Alcantara interior with CF interior package. Just added the Novitec wing last week. You didn’t mind him calling you poor? It’s a great car.
@@briandavid9462 I must have missed the part where he called me poor? 😂
@@cliffwilson6988 well technically he said he can’t drive a 570s because it makes HIM feel poor! What a tool. You have an amazing car. Forget his little man’s syndrome - you are either a car guy or you aren’t. Any car guy HAS to love that car. And even the new z06 he routinely craps on!
@@briandavid9462 My Artic Grey 2023 Porsche 911 C4S just arrived from Germany last week and it's one hell of a car too. Can you do a breakdown of the Mclaren GT as it is the baby supercar of the current lineup
$400/month for an exotic car while i am paying $670/mnth for my Honda Accord
Difference is the Accord is most likely a daily (10-15k miles a year)
The exotics are maybe 5-7k miles and short term ownership. The monthly will be high, no doubt, BUT when you get out of it and do the numbers. The car would have cost you less than the Accord.
You'd essentially need to be comfortable with a $1k+/monthly payment and keep hacking through cars. At the end of it all, it's preserving the monthly payments in the minimally depreciating value of the car.
@@badalundhabad2083 if you’re driving an exotic it shouldn’t be your only car any way tho.

PJ you crack me @5:00. 😂 As always good/informative video. Best.
Can I drive a 570s with my LLC profit margins being $150k annual average? I have no other expenses, everything else is paid off.

Just an FYI addendum to your video, there is no 2015 570S, they started out as a 2016 model in the USA.

When u factor in depreciation you’re only paying $400 a month to drive
@@johnnycash8567people just scroll these videos and don't study the model

Usually ruins the hack capability and even if it doesnt from a financial standpoint, huge headache to convince the next guy the accident "isnt a big deal"
Doesn’t align well(re sale will be an issue)
What a modest guy
Didn’t know 150 k for the 2016 models is poor change
I still didn’t get the part where you only pay $400 a month. Instead we were given the run around.
What do you think of McLaren's extended warrantee?
So you spend $155,000. But the $400/mo part doesn't math up.
Very nice video.
Think about this for a sec though since we are no longer in 2019 and nobody’s getting that 2.9% interest rate anymore.
National average rate is 12.6 percent as of last month while good borrowers can qualify at around 6-7 percent. And let’s say you are in the middle and paying 10% interest.
Assuming the vehicle retains its value over the entirety of ownership. However. Interest on the loan still needs be paid.
For example,
$145k for a 2017 mclaren 570s with 40k down, 100k loan
100k loan = 10k interest annually or 833/month in interest
$30k Nissan, 10k down with 20k loan
20k = 2k interest annually.
Just look at the numbers and figure out what suits your current lifestyle better.
Well let's consider the fact that if those driving the Nissan and those driving the McLaren aren't the same... Compare like to like, aspiring supercar to supercar driver.
U need to get your credit right before u get in an exotic bro, don’t be a dummy. If you’re credit is right u can get it at 6% and get a loan over 144 months, you’ll only be in the car for probably 6 to 10 months
Interest doesnt work the way you think it does. Your interest rate on your nissan wont be the same as your interest rate on an exotic. The lending algorithm factors in a lot of other variables into the final loan and members are still get normal interest rates. The course and PJs other resources go over credit, how to present the loan proposition to various lenders, and a million other things you can do. Plenty of members getting below 7% which isnt a big deal for a car youre owning for 6-12 months. And what your calculation does account for is all the external benefits from a 150k mclaren vs a 30k nissan. Countless stories of people making their money back from the networking alone.
250k the payment should be about $2,400 a month. At $400 a month you need about 70 years to pay it off. This makes no sense do the math
Why would anyone want monthly payments
What do you think about the potential bankruptcy of McLaren affecting their car value?
Looking forward. To feeling poor soon
😂😂😂😂
I just got 2000 status for my c8 z06. 2-3 months i should have the car but unfortunately i got hurt at work and im on workman's comp. I still bring home the same amount as if i worked 40hr week. I have excellent credit 800 , make over 100k, and have under 2% utilization on CC. What banks and hacks if any you have as suggestions? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
You don’t have enough money to buy a fucking exotic car. Save your money don’t listen to this dirt bag.
Anyone see a bank statement from this guy? How rich can you be if the first thing you do is insult all the people you are hoping to have/help as your “car-hack” customers? Alienating your customers by calling them poor (for considering this car) seems like a stupid business plan.
Words of wisdom. don't buy a 570, get instead a brand new Porsche 911 that you can daily for the next 40 years without going bankrupt or taking out colleterial on your home just to pay the repair bills.
I've owned a 570S for 3 years and do all my own maintenance. It's no harder and not much more money to do basic maintenance than a 911, it just takes a bit longer and you need to look a bit harder to find the parts online. I spend around $1k per annum on maintenance, which includes the major transmission/clutch fluid and filters service. The biggest saving comes from only buying cars that you don't need to finance. I could sell this car for more than I have in it.
Correct me if I’m wrong but I believe 911s also are difficult to maintain but not many people who are not rich car enthusiasts buy them so they shell out a ton on paying maintenance anyway.
@@factsondeck1552 911’s are no harder to maintain than any German car.
@@factsondeck1552 porsches are not easy to maintain but if you service them by a reputable shop they will run for the next 40 or 50 years without major issues. Supercars like the 570 are not ment to be dd, 20k on the engine is consider high mileage.

I think your big belly is a lot worse than feeling poor in a McLaren 570 lol
I can lose the belly in 2 weeks, you cant get rich in 10 years. Its basic math than retards cant understand.
@@ExoticCarHacksThat reply was so poorly articulated. So what's the hack? This can be done with any car. McClaren or toyota...not sure how this is a hack. Doing common research on options and mileage before buying a car is a hack? Only poor people need a hack. Lol, people with money buy NEW. And as for small wrecks, fender benders, you lose quick value on a used car, and it takes longer to sell. So what's the real hack, paying less for a car with more options? Isn't that called common sense, not a hack? What am I missing,.
So incredibly pompous....made it 1 min into this video and im done.
Garbage - he explained nothing of value what so ever - zero information about owning a 570 for $400 a month.
This does not factoring in the $10k+ spent on sales tax and current high interest financing. Also, if the car gets hit, it's over.
It obviously doesn’t factor a lot of things: maintenance costs and insurance premiums being the biggest ones…..but the clickbait title of the video would be a lot less catchy if you wanted to get technical with all the costs associated.
actually it does, learn our ways might surprise you how little you actually know
yeah if you get in a fender bender your plan is screwed. no ones going to give top dollar for a less than perfect CarFax
