This Bakit Pa Ba of Jay-R and Hanggang Ngayon of Kyla has set the OPM RNB standards in the Philippines. It’s just too grim to accept that RNB in the Philippines was not that too famous and well loved because the culture has opened the eyes of the youngs to BELTING BALLADS. Am not hating them because I myself has loved belters but since this genre has sprouted, I was so happy because it really sounded so good and soothing when sung in Tagalog. Kyla and Jay-R made it possible to infuse the sound-a-like voices of Tamia, Ashanti, Usher, BoyzIIMen, Luther Vandross, Brian Mcknight, James Ingram, Mariah, Beyonce, Whitney etc in the OPM industry. There will be many artists in the Philippines to try and sound like RNB but truly, they are the pioneers of RNB in the Philippines. Hail to the King and Queen. Much love with them.
