I discoverd Koan Sound in 2012 at a lil fest in south of France where Skrillex was programmed, and I felt in love wih Koan Sound ! What a music punch !

Back then I thought there's no way these guys can outdo themselves but they've kept doing it every time they release something new.

I worked a festival where these guys did a till sunrise set. No shit eventually it just turned into annoying static pitches for 30 second intervals. Like, “here’s what 114htz sounds like, here’s 80htz. I’m sorry but that is the antithesis of music and only appealing to people on so much ketamine they do the dino stomp. Sound production is awesome, producing a recorded set is cool too. I just don’t get why there’s such a focus on the “dj” when all they are doing really is replaying some shit they made on a computer. Does that require a stage? No it doesn’t. DJ’s aren’t rock stars. It’s not a live performance it’s a more viewing. I say fuck this stage and put the DJs back in the booth. It isn’t a concert it’s a dance party.
