I know this is an old post, but yeah that's basically what happened. Take a look at every President of the United States on the day they were sworn in and compare it to the day they left office. One or two terms of that position will stress anyone so much that it will basically make them age more quickly than they otherwise would.

I'll assume that was a veracious source, but it only mentioned one weapon (including the ammunition) in one instance (i.e. the Bin Laden raid), it might be a bit of a stretch to claim from that observation that the Seals use only German weapons.
Also, the guy you were responding to (Theunicorn4711) wasn't American, his profile indicated that he was Austrian, so I wouldn't let him leave an impression of Americans on you.

      Nocturnal Recluse
What you aren't seeing is a man who has to lay the foundation that others can follow. Being the first ethnic President comes with a ton of baggage others simply didn't have to worry about. If he comes off too aggressive that could look a certain way and be taken out of context to mean he's far to emotional to be President and that would be it for a very long time for any thoughts of an ethnic President in the future. A lot is riding on his shoulders.

I have family, friends and colleagues in the government and the military. My politics has gone from left to right and in between. There are things that I know that your anecdotal mind could barely grasp on to; no thanks to the one-sided media youre exposed to. So DONT go there you'll only lose. I love my country. I don't want to see her or its citizens lose any freedoms.

Recessions do come and go. But according to you're state of mind, the government should just sit on it's ass and allow famine and devastation to occur. The stimulus money is lost but it was able to stabilize a downward spiral and without it we'd all be digging in dumpsters looking for food. 2000 was unlike this recession in which our currency is devalued, we've waisted billions in Iraq, and our higher paying jobs get outsourced to India.
