I’m visiting the Home Builder Alpine Homes in West Jordan, Utah. I'm giving you a tour of this awesome 2-story so you can see the many different styles of homes & floor plans. Rather you’re building a custom home or going with a track Home builder, these videos should provide you with loads of information to help you through the design process of your own home. I’m touring a 2-Story Alpine Homes calls the Cypress. This home comes standard with 2,656 Finished sq. ft. & 4,332 Total sq. ft. 2-STORY - 4-5 Bedrooms 3 Bathrooms. Most Home builder’s offer multiple elevations. So, if you fall in love with a specific floor plan, but you don’t like how the home looks, don’t worry about it. Most builders will give you several unique exterior options so you can customize the home to your personal taste, but also to keep the homes in the neighborhood looking different from one another.
The home build process can be confusing & it’s often overwhelming. So, for those of you that have questions about building a home or you’d like to understand the home build process better, I have over 200 videos to help you out. Up north in cache county. Sierra Homes is the builder. They offer great plans and we were able to customize many aspects to our specific needs. Super excited! Hopefully we will be done in mid June.

You think the market is calming down a little? I see a lot more available homes on realtor.com than I did even just a month ago...
Well, it is common for more homes to be listed this time of the year. I am still seeing a pretty frenzied market but, more homes should calm things down even if just a little.
Does this home have like 10 different types of flooring throughout like most Utah homes? Lol. I can’t stand it when the main floor is part vinyl/part carpet...
Generally, Alpine Homes is doing just PVC laminate on the main floor and in the bathrooms and laundry room. Carpet on the stairs and in the bedrooms and hallways. Some people prefer carpet in the family room, but for the most part we are just doing the laminate. Are you looking to build a home?
What’s with no door on the master bathroom? There are a lot of cheap cut corners on these homes. I had that granite in a condo like 15+ years ago. How about just putting one color quartz? That would look much better.
LOL. You're crackin' me up. First of all, you are mistaken, this house doesn't have granite in it. It's quartz. Also, most builders are NOT putting a door on the master. I'm not exactly sure why but it's a trend. What do you mean by cheap cut corners? Alpine homes is one of the highest rated home builders in Utah know for quality & customer care.
@@TyWilde it looks like granite - not quartz. They picked the ugliest design. But I am looking at a video so it’s hard to tell.
@@NVSTGTE LOL. It's actually a super popular color choice. It's okay though, not everyone has the same taste. I think it's more important to be kind to one another. I hope you have a beautiful day.

Not to sound like a picky jerk, but that bathroom granite is outdated and those plastic shower/tub combos are cheap looking. I feel a lot of Utah new homes have a lot of cheap looking features. Then they want almost $500K+??
You need to learn your products. Alpine doesn't put granite in any of their homes. What you are seeing is quartz. The plastic shower/tub combos are being used in 90% of the home being built today unless you want to pay $800,000+ for a Toll Brothers home. Also, you clearly don't understand why certain selections are chosen for homes or how they are priced. (Maybe I need to make a video on this) For the most part, when a builder chooses the selections you see as standard features it's because a large majority of people who build select the same option over & over again. This is heavily researched. The plastic shower/tub is a prime example of an option that is chosen by people when they build. As far as the price goes, the builder isn't pricing the homes randomly or driving the prices up. Right now, in this market, people are fighting over homes & we are often getting multiple offers. Home buyers are pushing the prices up because we are in a housing shortage. Thank for watching & for sharing your thoughts.
@@TyWilde Half a million dollars for a home with a plastic tub/shower and you think that’s reasonable? You’re cracking me up! 😂😂. It’s called “building on the cheap.” Salt Lake City homes are grossly inflated right now. You have to stick up for the cheap plastic because you’re a realtor trying to sell this crap to people. Homes have almost doubled in just two years. It doesn’t take a genius to know that’s not sustainable. No way would I buy right now! I guess if I were in your shoes I’d have to push plastic bathrooms too...
BUY UP FOLKS! Only a half a million for a home with plastic showers and an ugly outdated quartz pattern that the builder probably bought in bulk. What a DEAL!!!! 😂😂😂

At the end of the day, people will remember us for the way we treat one another. I bet you're a really nice person. I really hate that home prices are jumping so fast, but the fact is, home price nationwide & especially in Utah will continue to increase for at least another year & there will not be a crash. Honestly, I wish you the best.
