I really agree that Dre Greenlaw is more valuable to the success of the team than what Deebo has shown in recent years. We can supplement the WR position with the addition of Pearsall and the draft in later rounds. We will not find another Dre Greenlaw anytime soon. I think a DT that can push the middle and pass rush is a necessity.

Why release Deebo for Greenlaw who literally steps on the field and is out with a season ending injury, then comes back and plays 1 game and is out for the remainder of the season? And how is a consistently injured player more valuable, then a player that has been in more games then Greenlaw this season (Don't care if he's dropped the ball) lol.
Great question! Easy: when healthy Greenlaw is on the field the team is significantly better. I won’t take one rough season where he came back toward the end as an indicator that he now has a history of injuries. Deebo is an outstanding player but we saw a down year from him and I think the number of weapons on this offense could survive if we had to. Either way, not happening so you don’t have to worry!

I think an interior D-line guy who helps stop the run is more important than another edge rusher.

Fair. I don’t think it HAS to be draft, but if we aren’t getting some OL in rounds 2 and 3 we are going to be asking a lot out of FA
