It is too early to tell. We will know more after training camp. The center has more responsibilities for signaling blocking assignments on the fly. That is tough for a rookie, especially if he wasn't a full time center in college. I hope he is good enough to win a starting job somewhere at some point in the season, preferably at RT (guard is OK too) and maybe become the long term replacement at LT when Trent Williams retires. Puni is 6'5", 313 lbs. Williams is also 6'5" but weighs in at 320 lbs. I suspect Puni could easily add another 7 lbs and develop into an excellent tackle.

We made it to the SB with the right side of our O-line being horrible. Any improvement may just put us over the top. As you said, everyone is coming back, continuity really does help on the OL. Even if we go from the 24th ranked to maybe 16th and Puni is a depth piece, I think that is enough

I think Purdy is going to have tremendous 2024 season. With all the weapons at his fingertips and a defensive unit that should be a top 3 defense on the other side of the ball. Looks like another trip to the Super Bowl I just hope that Shanahan can not choke in the 2nd half and play to Win this time around! 🙏👍🤙

Im not as optimistic probably more realistic based on evidence. Campbell lost his job in GB and graded poor in coverge. Dre wont be back til late Oct or early Nov. The question is whether Dee Winters can force his way into the lineup. I do think Campbell should be strong vs run.

Im not as high on Brown. They benched him for the former pat, took some bad angles and one of his int was lucky. Id like to see more consistency from him.

Now that we have a new co ordinator we should be better i think fred took a step back and when he said he dont go 100 percent in every game kinda made me think we can get some 1 that will and maybe already have

Ronnie Lott and second place isn't close. Is it cheating to pick a 49er who didn't actually play for them? If not I'll go with John Lynch as my number 2. And yes, I think Brown is primed for good things! The 49ers always seem to have these 3rd/4th round breakouts, especially on the back end of the defense. I think Lynch deserves a lot of the credit

You already know how I feel!!!! Jayir is going to blow up! I love him. I’m a Pa boy and he played extremely sound football at Penn St. Thank God he ran that fourty time and dropped a complete round. I was so happy when we grabbed him but having Mustapha and Huf is such a blessing. All post 3rd round. Lott is my game day jersey. Enough said there.

With Greenlaw and Campbell we are the clear cut #1

Craig instead of Young. Montana would have won 2-3 more SB’s instead of Young’s 1. Craig was a workhorse. Always productive, never fumbled and first 1,000 rush and 1,000 receiving in history of NFL. Young, granted was a stat machine, choked away a few SB’s.

Well, Warner is the best linebacker in football, with Greenlaw they are number 1. Campbell should be good enough to hold down the fort until Greenlaw gets back. So hopefully his enlightenment over the past couple of months translates to the field

I would like to see the 49ers pick up that the Dolfines center that they released and so what he will miss the first couple of games, but down the line he will pay big dividends, I hope they pick him up up and because of his condition they ought to pick him up at a very cheap price.

Hope Nick Bosa and Leonard Floyd will just dominate this year! Knowing that the refs won’t throw the flag on Tackles who hold in the Superbowl, I’m sure they’re game-planning against the refs as well.
