I completely agree, they should be drafting BPA and if the BPA is a point guard in the top 5 of this draft then there’s a very good chance he will be the best point guard on this roster before the end of next season. I do agree with Rafael’s comments about not being the best player if they don’t have room to play/develop, but i also think that doesn’t pertain to Portland. Their young core is pretty well-balanced positionally after trading for Deni and drafting Donovan, and that only applies for teams that have very promising budding stars on their roster, which Portland does not. I think this even applies for Maluach since there are 48 center minutes. If the Blazers end up with two centers who are both able to stay healthy and demand more than 24 minutes per game, that’s a very good problem to have and I’m sure it’s the kind of thing that can be resolved in the trade market if necessary
@aardee175 Sadly, 3pt shooting wins games now. Having 1 shooter is actually our current problem, and it's too easy to lock down. That being said, I do think we need Ace or Harper more than we need Flagg.
While high shooting percentages typically indicate strong skill, they don't always reflect a player's true talent. More important factors come into play. The more open shots a player creates, the greater the likelihood their shooting percentage will improve significantly. With the right team, even an average shooter can put up impressive numbers
We need some Cling Kong in this terrible season. There is a chance you won't need #1 pick for a shot at General Flagg. He should be #1 but isn't playing up to snuff for Duke.
This trade deadline and summer are potentially going to be sink or swim for the Blazers. The expansion teams will mess up any deals we want for the vets, and we could be pushed down the draft board as well. It's critical that we get picks and have our vets shipped out by that point. If not, we're screwed.
Also you should draft - SG. Emanuel Sharp (Cougars) SF. Shon Abaev (Cincinnati) C. Danny wolf (Yale) Saraf, Sharp, Abayev, Avdija, Wolf You see what i did here? 😂
@@Kingofwolves503thank you, he’s improving, and I believe he will improve himself when he is surrounded by better shooting and better spacing. Can’t even drink a beer yet.
@@BrianSprouse-t9o I don’t see the point in this hypothetical. Like, yes, if someone traded a pick in the first half of the lottery you’d have to do it, but that’s not going to happen
“Gotta talk about the zebra in the corner”.😂👏🏼
Made me lol
Clingan changes the game for us on the defensive end. He is THAT impactful already.

You watched Saraf and Essengue too, right? They played the blazers
We talk about Simons creating gravity, Clingan IS gravity.
Opponents shooting layups get caught in a tractor beam.
Nice countdown Mike 😂😂 Now I gotta rewatch Ghost in the Shell
Anybody notice we need shooters? Draft highest 3pt % shooter in draft!
I like the way the team plays right now and wouldn’t want it to turn into a bunch of 3pt shooters. But they need at least 1

Get him back now!!
Yeah I can’t wait, but he needs to be careful/PLEASE. Hes only 20 and his talent has not been seen yet!!

serious question.........who is wining ROTY? no rookie is really standing out or getting any coverage besides knetch on the lakers
Post-all-star break is really gonna shake things up
it's still undetermined, there's a handful of rookies playing well. Missi jumped into the top 5 this week.
ben saraf is the point guard you looking for

But we have "1st pick in any other draft" Scoot!
Would you consider trading Scoot henderson for the right price
Yes or no or he'll know
If he garnered a lottery pick, probably
Too early to give up on a kid who just turned 20. Lillard was days away from being 22yrs old when we drafted him
