- Sadly, I had to make Sephiroth a monster instead of a character to make this somewhat of a challenging fight which means he cannot use his Masamune. It was the only way to have his HP over 999.
The only way he can be beaten is by Aerith casting Seal Evil on him to stop his movements so he will not Auto-Heal. If you like the content please consider supporting on Patreon: / eternalepoch

@donprincemnm4354 no I don't. I'm modding the psx version. I wouldn't even know where to begin with an android version. All the tools are either for the psx or psp versions.

I always thought Phoenix Downs don't work on those who are actually dying. Or just Game mechanics for players not for in game characters.
@@PhantomBlackStar you're right It revives them if they fall unconscious in battle, but if you fall unconscious because of massive injuries I would think you're close to death soooo😂

HellMasker = Skeletal Fiend (since it has a mask)

Can't argue with that. Crazy part for me is his voice in reamke is exactly how I imagined it when I played the original.

@JohannDmusickVortex it was just a one-off battle I did for fun. I'm working on a dissidia mod, but it isn't finished yet. I wish I could remember where that version of one winged angel came from but that was so long ago.

I went through all the troubles,but I still dk how to change character appearance.It seemed that Shishi Sprite Editor cant work on my PC,that sucks.

im impressed with this gnarly mod. Makes me wonder if anyone did this with characters from 2,4,6, and 8. Those were my favs from the nintendo and ps1 era. Fingers crossed that FF tactics gets something new next for its 25th anniversary. Regardless if its a remake of the 3 tactics game, a new game revealed, or idk maybe war of the visions purely as a offline game?
The problem is the lack of sprites.
I only have two sprites from 8. Squall and Seifer. From 2 I have Firion Minwu, and Maria. From 6 I have Locke, Terra, Strago, Cyan, Umaro, Mog, and Shadow.
I was actually thinking about 4 last night. From 4 I have Cecil, Rydia, and Kain. If I had Rosa and Edge, I'd be good to go.
A tactics style game with all the FF characters would be awesome.
I'd love to have the Light Warriors from FF1, I find myself trying to recreate that team every so often.

That was just a one-off level I made. I'm actually working on a complete mod, but I'm only about halfway done.

No. That was just a one level fun battle I set up.

To do that I'd have to set him as a human unit. The max HP for a human is only 999 so he could possibly be one shotted.
I had to make him a boss sprite in order to bypass this limit. Only issue is bosses can't equip weapons.
@@eternalepoch3134 Serious? I used a gameshark in my ps1 version and have even the last boss in my group and could equip weapons, then i set him to his "job" as boss and he keep the equipment and even the skills from other jobs!

@@eternalepoch3134 No(that i remember, was a long time ago), the bosses don't have the animation for that, i think! They use their default attacks!

Shouldn’t it say “Defeat Sephiroth?” Also what is up with Sephiroth punching? Shouldn’t he be using his blade?
In order to get Sephorith to have over 999 HP I had to set his stats to a bosses which can't equip weapons. I'll need see if I can figure a way around this in the future.
@@eternalepoch3134 So then, armed story bosses throughout the game like Weigraf, Vormav/Folmarv, Meliadoul, Gafgarion, yada yada weren't actually bosses? Granted their HP was visible and never exceeded the 999 limit, but still, seems confusing.
@@RukudoSage69 correct. I've found a mod that will allow a break in the hp limit so in my next mod this will he fixed.

@@joeywomer I guess it fits in if you go by the whole dissida angle. From what I understand, all Final Fantasys share the same multiverse. I know it's cannon that Gilgamesh is the same character in every FF. He travels the void endlessly looking for Bartz.

Mustadio and his father find some type of dimensional portal device and the thing is activated by the auracite... bringing Cloud to this world...
don't remember if there's any more backstory about the thing aside from being some type of "lost technology" from Goug Machine City... pretty much like Construct/Worker 8

@perrycarters3113 it was one of the first times I really started testing things out. In order to buff his stats to ungodly amounts, I created him as a Lucavi. By default, they can't use equipment even if it is forced equipped to them.

I no longer have that one. I will be making a new one soon. There is a new modding tool that expands the playable character roster from 16 to 26. I want to do a dissidia type mod.
