Hello. I bought an adapter , but I do not have a menu item selection USB options. Updated Blue & Me to v5.6. This item does not appear . Device is not working. The device writes that there is no media . What else can you do ? What the model year of your car and what version of Blue & me? My Blue & me is 1 generation.
+Viktor Drobenia It looks like library is not building up properly. Try changing the device i.e. insert a known usb pen drive and let it play music for few minutes and switch to this device again. This should force it to rebuild the library.
Rahul, thanks for this video, man!! I have been struggling with the limitations of Blue&Me and this should help me resolve that. A quick question though, will it work only with the one blue tooth adapter you showed or do you have any thoughts about other blue tooth adapters?
Actually there were many devices available online and I chose this one randomly as it was cheaper and I wasn't sure about B&M compatibility in case of costly devices. But luck was good for me :)

There could be multiple reasons for Ido flashing. Weak battery/any blue n me software update which didn't go well. Most of folks could resolve it by means like disconnecting battery terminals or reinstall blue n me if it was failed. Or I have read somewhere about proxy alignment about stereo n blue n me. Please check our online discussion forums, you will lot of information on this issue.

Hi Rahul. M using a different Bluetooth adapter. But when I connect to the Bluetooth. I don't get to see the USB options in the menu. But when I connect a different memory USB drive I get the USB options. Any work around??
Sometimes this happens with me with regular us decide also if there formatting is not detected or there are unknown files. Clear off existing USB profiles from blue and me and try connecting this device again. Initially It will take some time to recognise it. Also check if it show folder/tracks in the menu and u can manually select the track.
Try deleting USB profiles from the media player setting or even try reconnecting it and allow it for some time to build it's library. Also when u see the error are you able to see folders/tracks in the menu?
Hi Rahul, I got the same device which u showing demo in the video. Car what i have is Fiat Punto (2013) Emotion Diesel variant . When plug the device to USB port device is getting on able to scan and connect form the mobile . But in the car its showing as no media. tried doing same workaround which u did but BT music is not listing under the path which u showed . Also i updated the Blue & me FW. Still no use . Can have any inputs on this..Fiat services guys also tell it ll not work.
Shanmukh g.b I did face this in the beginning....try swapping it with ur working pen driver and then plug this device again to force it refresh the library buildup
Hey sorry for the delay in reply. Ideally it should work with usb port, if you are already using that port to play music by plugging in a Pen-Drive. By the way, this device may not be available for international shipping to Italy from here. So you might have to search for similar adapters in Italy. :)

As far as I know, BnM is not very flexible to all the file formats. Make sure u have pen drive formatted as fat32 with 4096 block size. Upgrade process is pretty straightforward. Just download zip file as mentioned in step1 on Blue&Me website. Unzip it to empty usb drive. Plug it in n just turn on the ignition. It will create a new file in the USB drive with your player config information. U need to upload this file to website step2 section for downloading the latest firmware.
That's strange. I never faced it with this device. However this I used to face this issue with my regular USB drive earlier. Sometime it used to automatically switch to CD player/FM mode.
I guess it could be due to loop mode turned off. But not sure. Try playing with those settings. This device contains 3 dummy track files through which music is streamed.
Kenneth Wulf Earlier I had checked with this seller about international shipment but they replied with No. I think you can buy any similar adapter locally. but what I have noticed here is that this device is working only with second Generation of BluenMe hardware. unfortunately it did not work with Gen1 hardware.
Shaik vajeed ahmed u got 2 options....one is what I have shown in the video....but this options works with BnM second Generation device. Second option which you can try is RoidMi 3S device. Thats works too without any issue
Antonio Bortolin It will work without any issue. Basically its a FM transmitter but sound quality transmission is very good. I have been using it since few months.
Kushal, I faced this issue with my previous smartphone. I am really not sure whether it was handset issue or there was a software issue .... I am no longer facing this issue now with the current handset.

Hi, I guess 2011 models were having Gen1 device. You can verify it in the menu if there is image id displayed there its Gen 2 device.... unfortunately my solution in the video experiment did not succeed on Gen 1 device. And I dont think its worth changing your device to gen2. Other alternative option would be try roidmi 3s device which works beautifully
Sandeep Joshua Sorry Bro, i dont know how I missed your query :(.......installing Aux on our BnM devices is not so easy and clean approach.....apart from this adapter i have recently purchased Xiaomi Roidmi 3s. Even this device is cool in terms of sound quality and ease of using it. You too can try it out :)
Sukhman Sukhman please check your BnM hardware version. I too purchased my Punto 2012 but its second generation device. We had tried it with 1st generation but no luck even after BnM upgrade :(

I have purchased this blueetooth device from Amazon India .When I am connecting this device it plays for 4-5 minutes and it is getting disconnected automatically .After few minutes later I have to connect it manually . As per your suggestion I have made the Loop mode ON, but still the issue persist. Kindly suggest me what I have to rectify this issue .
I have noticed this problem with my cousin's handset. I noticed that Bluetooth pairing on her phone faced connection problem when she received a call or even messages. So far I didnt face this on my iphone or my sister's Mi device
Hello Rahim, I searched for 16V Sporting, i doubt if it has Blue&Me. Irrespective of that, I found that the device works on many players including my home music systems. Since we dont have 16V Sporting in our country, I cannot confirm the same. I am sorry for that.

Sound quality was good. I feel technically there shouldn't be difference since music file is transmitted digitally unlike traditional FM modulators.
