I’m probably right around the same age as you. I remember being a super young kid, and my dad playing Atari. I have vivid memories of playing Atari and Nintendo during the summer, at my babysitters’ houses.
I really really wanted to get a Nintendo when I was a kid. I bugged my parents constantly. One day, during the summer…I was probably like 13…I came home after a week of summer camp, and found a Sega Genesis in my living room! I couldn’t believe it! That’s is the console that I began to “fall in love” with video games.
Over the years, just like you, adulting happens, and you can’t devote hours of your day to video games anymore. I find it really difficult to find any time anymore to play. My 4 year old son likes watching me play a couple games on PS4 once and a while. He loves watching me play Spider-Man (his favorite super hero) and Star Wars: Fallen Order. Those are 2 really good games. You should check those out if you haven’t already.
