Meteore is probably the underdog of mens LV and that’s good for me! Meteore last until the next day on me, I love it. It’s the most juvenile of the line which is fine, it’s very paco rabanne to me but with some quality. It’s what i reach for when l’immensite is a little too serious, imagination won’t fit the bill, it’s not hot enough for afternoon swim, and It’s not evening time or gloomy enough for orage. I like the exotic vetiver it delivers
I went into a LV store a few months ago and tried out as many fragrances as I could and honestly found myself being underwhelmed by most of them. Meteore was the only one that stood out for me and one that I would actually consider getting. I do remember it having a pretty good citrus smell to me. But I definitely wasn't thinking to myself that I have to have this fragrance however. Like the reviewer mentions it didn't blow me away nor do I think it will blow anyone away either. I think it is very overpriced at $320, but you do get a 100ml bottle. Maybe LV should consider releasing a smaller volume bottle for a lesser price. I might consider this fragrance in the coming Spring or Summer months next year.
I got a bunch of free men's samples. I didn't know it was this but told my husband that whatever it is, I'm buying it for him. He gave me the name and I'll be at the store tomorrow. Loved it and lasted until the next morning when we woke up.
Yoooooo I’ve been waiting for this!! Thanks for your honesty always! I do agree, for the price point, maybe not the best pick but still an enjoyable scent for me that I found myself constantly bringing my nose to it. I also have afternoon swim and I do definitely like AS better. It’s just so addicting and unique to me I’ll be anticipating the update on performance!
I'm really intrigued with molecule 01 lots of people recommending to layer with this one it will amped up the performance and longevity my question is can you really layer this on every perfume or just a few based on your experience ? Many thanks
@@greg7469 The general consensus with molecule01 is that it reacts differently depending on the individual’s skin chemistry. When used independently as a fragrance, some people cannot smell anything and some people can smell it. For me, I hardly smell it and when I do get whiffs of it, I get a slightly woody/cedar smell. I’ve also heard that it took people a few wears to be able to smell it. As for the layering question, most people are layering it with weak performing fragrances. L’Homme by YSL is a good example. It doesn’t project or perform very well, and I’ve gotten away with 10+ sprays with it in order to create a nice scent bubble. With molecule01, I find myself not needing as many as much to get better longevity/projection. Again, this may differ on you based on skin chemistry but typically, I’ve heard it works for most people. You may also want to consider how you like to wear your fragrances. Do you like it closer to the skin, or do you generally like to have a slight trail? That will determine how much you actually want to project.
@@kdumpling8223 thanks have you tried layering this with elysium, afternoon swim all these niche brand but poor performance cause I have both thanks again
@@greg7469 I don’t usually get super poor performance from Elysium or afternoon swim in general but I have layered with molecule01 for both. I have noticed a bit more longevity from both with layering molecule01. For me, I haven’t found a difference between putting molecule01 first, then the fragrance you want to “boost” or vise versa. If you do decide to pick up molecule01, try both ways and see if you notice a difference.
Thank for the impressions; kind of confirmed what I thought would be the case with this one. While you compared this to Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme, do you think Chanel Allure Homme Edition Blanche has more class than Meteore?
Smells like a boring peppery shower gel fragrance, a pass for me. But I dislike shower gel fragrances in general (I absolutely hate YSL Y for example and also get headache from Legend spirit)
Meteore is so basic it's disgusting. Maybe my expectations are high because I heard people raving. Not to mention is LV and is $300. If you have a solid Summer fragrance lineup It's nothing you need in your collection

Yeah, stuff is STRONG, but so so so good
Perfect scent. Easy going, familiar but not widely available bc of price. Perfect office scent.
Just bought it. I really like it

Well atleast they offer refills at $205 lol
LV Meteore is my favorite. I have Imagination, L’Immensite, Naxos, ADG Profumo, YSL Le Parfum, Bad Boy EDT, etc. & Meteore is #1

You can smell this in every department store but its just different enough and the performance is superb when I tried a sample.
Meteor is oil based so it lasts like all day
Looking for something to blend it with to bring out the spicy citrus

Just layered meteoré with molecule 01 and I’m getting 8hours and counting on performance. Drop off in projection at about 5-6 hour mark

They are very different. They have basically nothing in common with Meteore. Meteore has a ton of pink pepper.
meteore is better than chanel mark my words
200-250$?!? Whaaat?!? They are 350$ now for the smaller bottle.
inflation
280€ 100ml in EU where do you live ? LOL

Dont enjoy the drydown of this. Somehow bitter earthy, too generic.
