My absolute favorite fresh one from LV. I usually use this one in that April/May/early June time before it gets super hot. It's a very relaxing fragrance.
It was interesting hearing your thoughts, I am going London next week to pick up angels share and afternoon swim, I will have to try imagination and potentially could sway my decision!
Suggestion: Imagination layers beautifully with vanilla fragrances. I use Contre Moi ( LV ) for base layer, topped with couple of sprays of Imagination. Stunning!!!

Imagination has been my signature scent for a while now. Never fails to get me compliments and lasts so long sometimes I wake up the next day still smelling it on me

I have heard soooooooo much about LV perfumery and Imagination in particular. This review was an instant click for me. Always nice to see a knowledgeable person like yourself back up the hype behind something like this. I don't quite have $300 to drop on a perfume at this point but I'll add this to my list hahaha
Get a sampler first - I dont mind the price tbh i just dont think thats anything unique
@@MrDextrator oh I don’t think I’ll buy it. I’m not super into freshies and only have a couple so I can get through the month or so (max) of really hot days we get in Virginia but it’s still always cool to see Aaron’s insight on perfumes that are as popular as this is.
I also just don’t see myself spending $300 on a single bottle. I’m on a hard stop right now on buying frags anyways but I’m a bit value for money guy and I’m just not in love with freshies enough to drop to 300 on one lol.
Ombré nomad is the 2and greatest fragerances ever only second to oud satin mood extrait.
zara has an exact dupe called Sunrise on the Red Sand Dunes if you ever want to know what it smells like without dropping $300
@@RS3NDIT I honestly would go for Nishane Wulong Cha. It does a simliar thing and is honestly much smoother and well blended for roughly 180€

By FAR the best citrus/summer/fresh fragrance ever created, and also in general one of best! It is absolutely magical
I own this and like it a lot but I’m frankly kind of surprised so many other people love it. It’s purely in the clean fresh world without any of the muskiness or sexiness the most popular men’s fragrances tend to have. Great for daytime and office wear but definitely not an evening or date night scent

While the my favorites list is always evolving, Imagination by LV is always a contender for overall number one favorite perfume. Just a beautiful fragrance that does everything well.
Might get this fragrance for my 31st birthday. In South Africa, so we have summer and summer here, might just be perfect for me :)

I own this as well as meteor and l’immensite and they are all absolutely wonderful and imo it’s worth owning all three. I think LV fragrances are very underrated and for some reason they seem to be bashed by reviewers about pricing way more often than other equally expensive fragrances so it’s great to hear the most trusted name in the game say they are priced fairly. I absolutely love LV fragrances. They last all day and smell expensive. Great review as always, Aaron.
I have limmensite, sur la route, afternoon swim and orage...they are a little pricier then I'd like but obviously I can't help myself lol the quality and bottles are top teir
I agree. Ombre Nomade / Noveau Monde in particular are beastly. Last forever. They are well worth the money imo if you like the scent.

In general people don’t like spending big amounts of money on citrus/fresh scents, which is a lot of what LV offer. You’ll see the same complaints about expensive freshies from other brands as well.
Plus, naturally people always expect “designer” brands to offer cheaper fragrances and are usually less happy when they don’t than dedicated ‘niche’ brands…
@@SirSillageSniffington you’re partially right and people are really missing out because LV is top notch and better performing than most “niche” brands. They are leagues above comparably priced “niche brand” PDM and Creed not only in the actual scents but in strength and longevity as well. Also, LV has just as many deeper and darker fragrance offerings as they do fresh ones. Ombré nomade, Le sables roses, fleur du desert, nuit de feu, and their newest fragrance Myriad to name a few.
This fragrance is amazing. I wore it the other day. It has amazing silage, someone smelled it at the office from across the room and came over and said, it’s you! You smell amazing what it that. I told them what it was and it’s $320 and then they looked at me like I was crazy lol.

Hey Aaron! Really like your content as it's really informative. Where do you suggest buying perfume oils to train yourself on individual compounds?
I love this fragrance it is too expensive to buy a full bottle but samples are amazing and I treasure it and wear it sparingly.
I got a 200 ml that’s acceptable , super worth imo
You gotta treat yourself ! Got myself a bottle for my birthday, put it on affirm to split the payments up over 3 months…I got two kids so dropping $300 at once on a fragrance is hard for me but if I can make payments it makes those type of fragrances much more attainable
Tbh its not even that bad considering you can refill LV fragrances for about 60% of the price after your first bottle.
The thing is you still need to faffy around going to LV to get it refilled and they are mostly in faffy locations which are hard to get to.
@@QU4DP1MP that smells nothing like LV Imagination. I have both and while I like the Emper Imitation it just isn't the same. I'd say maybe 50% close. It does its own thing imo.

Great scent
I received this as a gift. It is probably one of the freshest fragrances out there. I just ran out of L'immensite, which is also an amazing Spring/Summer fragrance.
One of the best Vacation scents on the market, despite the massive Hype it already received over the years from the community, it just honestly still lives up to it. Transports you right to the Pool of a luxury resort in a beautiful location.

A very good fragrance! Citrus, nice musky black tea!
I dont know how and why but this stuff is extremely long lasting and has a crazy projection. I spray on clothes (90% of the time every fragrance) and it lasts all day. I only do 2 sprays because it gets too much. Also I live in Bangkok where its always hot and humid. This stuff is incredible for a freshie. After sampling it I got a full 100ml bottle wich at the same time is my most expensive fragrance in the collection.

Very hot and cold with this fragrance. Love the DNA, vibrance, and craftsmanship. However, it's a bit too punchy and linear for my nose. Can't pick up on top, middle, and base notes easily. I think it could benefit from toning up and down different notes to give it more of a journey.

A good alternative to this is Montales Oudyssee very natural smelling citrus aquatic that's got depth.Its also extremely long lasting

Meteore from LV is great, too! Try that one as well if you’re going to try Imagination.
Meteore also lasts 10+ hours ; for a fresh fragrance that is pretty insane
would love to get your opinion on fragrances from Milton Lloyd, they are a UK brand. The Man Silver and Bondage Hommes in particular.
I started using this in winter too. Does still shine in the cold. Lots of compliments. It is 260€ but a refill at LV ist "just" 150.
That's the price for BdC which does not last or project even half as much as Imagination.
Its 280€ now.

I have this awesome fragrance. I sprayed a card with Imagination LV and put it in a small carry case I was using. One year later and I can still smell it strong.!!!
You just made me get up and sniff a Rose Des Vents card from over a year ago. No scent. Bummer. My Speedy still smells good though. How cool! 🙂

I drove 3 hours to my closest LV store to try their cologne. Was not a fan of imagination, did not understand the hype. I wish l'immensite had better performance but I left with meteor I always get comments when I wear it. I smelt the ombre nomad as they were wrapping up my meteor and instantly wish I got that instead. It smelt amazing. Definitely my next!

this a very pleasant scent for spring / summer. nice and bright is the perfect description for this. my only drawback is its performance. I find that I need to overspray however on clothing it is amazing.
Good review as always. For me Imagination is too designer like furthermore It smells like curd soap in an old monastery. Maybe my nose is different but I don’t see any interesting to discover here.

@@isak1496 for sure! I was just saying along the lines of you were going to buy one $300+ freshie, most people would choose one or the other. Ideal world (and if you are into fragrances) I totally agree that you would own both, as they are different, super high quality, and long lasting which is why you would pay the money for them. I live in LA so these kinds of fragrances are all I wear so I own both as well😂😂. Both are in my top 5 must own as I prioritize uplifting, inspirational scents that put me in good mood. These two, Ganymede/Bois Imperial, aventus cologne, and Uden/Nio have been my rotation mostly even though I own 100+ scents. Just my style perfumery at moment. Open to other recs you think! 💪👍🙌

It is often said that some perfumes need "maceration" in order to improve longevity or performance in general. As a perfumist, how valid do you consider those claims and what is it that may produce this improvement?
It a good question indeed! I got a bottle just a week ago and was not sure about the results but the seller recommended macerating it!
Great scent....BUT it personally overwhelms me even with 1 spray from a sample. The projection is huge to me
