I’ve been working with AIR for a long time and using many AI-powered features: video translation, hashtag generation, descriptions, and so on. This really changes a lot, including engagement, impressions, and, of course, my earnings. AI is certainly not a cure-all, and we should try not to forget to think for ourselves, but it can already handle a lot of tasks really well for us.
My M.D. would use a new AI medical appointment system for the first time. Unfortunately, it was down for my appointment. She said it's really good when it works. But she likes to be more detailed. She acknowledged we are in the early days of such amazing help for medical and nursing professionals. I'm a retired critical care RN. I remember being dazzled when we got the first Computer monitors that detected arrhythmias without having a nurse sitting at a station looking up at a board of monitors and jumping up to hit print before the arrhythmia got away. If I don't mistaken, "full profit AI" means all paid AI... I am an AI user, and for me, that topic can impact me on using AI on a day-to-day basis... Living under the poverty line does not allow me to spend as much money as I already need to, and if AI become full profit in the sense I understand the word, that means I won't be able to use AI as often as I do (and I already pay a lot to use AI ! That puts me in a difficult economic situation because, no, not all the AI users live in Beverly Hills)

And now I am working on a p[rompt archiver, that will log all the prompts it made but that still doesn't work. I can use Chat-Gpt and claude but to keep the costs down I try and do this with Ollama and free models, hint they are nowhere near as smart as the high end LLM's
Happy new year. My first prediction for 2025: In a week or two folk will realize that Nvidia 5090 with 36GB VRAM doesn't cut it for 70B q4 models. You will need at least 2x24 or 1x48. That is probably by design. If you want to do "real" ai work, then you need a pro card, not the gaming stuff.
Need an AI agent that can replace my security company by identifying if someone at the front door is the gardener or a thief, and tell them to leave if it's the latter or the police will be contacted as well as setting off siren. Currently you need to pay for human monitoring to do this.
My thought is if we do get agent behavior we're gonna have to have the applications like different applications opt in to agentic behavior so if I want to use agent behavior A company like snapshot or meta might have to opt in to my operating system's request for agent behavior if I say " Operating system activate facebook" I see this as a requirement. Due to certain privacy, policies that are coming about and cyber security policies that are coming. It's gonna require each application to opt-in to a genetic behavior if they want agent behavior to work. It's basically the same issue we had with interoperability with the metaverse

Yeah Yeah Jam Tomorrow "Jam tomorrow" is often used as a metaphor for promises of better things in the future that never actually arrive. It's derived from Lewis Carroll's Through the Looking-Glass and refers to the White Queen's promise: "The rule is, jam tomorrow and jam yesterday - but never jam today." .... Quote from ChatGPT Is true or not?
I really want to see Google push Gemini. I'll switch from OpenAI to Google if they can get some of the features they promised in December up and running at least soon-ish.
glad Matt used the words "AI slop" to distinguish between AI trying to replace creativity and AI being an enhancement tool for creativity. AI is a tool not this fearmongered thing that is meant to replace people despite what corporations are unfortunately doing. We need to enjoy the positive aspects of AI and only reject the negative aspects of AI that get in the way of human creativity and placement in society. Unfortunately, AI can't be stopped and is already out there. A lot of people don't like it but fearmongering it and bashing it and wanting it to go away will do nothing. The best that people can do is ride the AI storm that is coming right now and figure out how to best use it to make lives better instead of letting it replace us in any way.
Is anyone else seeing crazy speeds with language models? Like, pushing 100,000+ tokens per second? I built a application that's doing this very consistently and I just don't see numbers like this anywhere else and before I try to find investment or do something crazy I wanna know if this is actually novel in anyway.
Robots: I think that if robots get to prices similar to cars and are useful, the demand will be so great we'll not be able to find one to buy. It'll be like the Raspberry Pi experience of the covid era. There just won't be enough to go around.
There should be world wide laws that in any encounter or presence bots should be made to reveal themselves as AI bots. I think I know where META is heading with millions of AI bots as influencers: a percentage of the profits...

It's basically the same issue we had with interoperability with the metaverse
no one including yourself spoke about deepseek? its already out perform chatgpt in many technical benchmarks!
No you didn't say a word about AI sculpting it works like blender or Z-brush but as you sculpt on your object the AI translated into a realistic object or scene in real time, For example as you're using sculpting The AI is translating it into a realistic image or scene in real time
2:19 but is it important for humanity?
WHOS READY FOR THE A.I BOOM
would be fun when it goes boom in our faces (already is)
I suggested that in 2025 we will get infinite memory and being able to create sounds and be able to identify sounds
Hey Matt what is ai agent how to work this tool
Regarding your comment on seeing AI in fridges, beds etc. I wonder if it will be true AI or more of a marketing gimmick? Time will tell I guess.
what free ai can i use to find whatever i want without filter on the internet?
Look up loading AI on your PC locally, that's the only way I know of.
what are the kids using? ideally one i can also feed books and textbooks to
Yeah Yeah Jam Tomorrow
"Jam tomorrow" is often used as a metaphor for promises of better things in the future that never actually arrive. It's derived from Lewis Carroll's Through the Looking-Glass and refers to the White Queen's promise:
"The rule is, jam tomorrow and jam yesterday - but never jam today." .... Quote from ChatGPT Is true or not?
Hope we get AI memory in 2025.
25:51 i definitely need this for when GTA 6 comes out.
2025 is going to be insane!
Maybe we can finally ask the question "What do we do now?" and have an actual answer... maybe someone should ask AI!
How long till we get an ai bci, like Sword Art Online?
I'm waiting for the latest video
i think AGI would come in end of the quarter
I think meta's large concept model will be explored more
🔥🔥🔥
No new video today?
Thank you :)
Remember my words someday AI is in your food
Robots: I think that if robots get to prices similar to cars and are useful, the demand will be so great we'll not be able to find one to buy. It'll be like the Raspberry Pi experience of the covid era. There just won't be enough to go around.
There should be world wide laws that in any encounter or presence bots should be made to reveal themselves as AI bots.
I think I know where META is heading with millions of AI bots as influencers: a percentage of the profits...
