I saw your video last week so I decided to purchase one, received it today and everything you said about this firearm is and I had a really fun time shooting it now it needs holsters and other aftermarket stuff to go with it.
I like rotating barrel handguns. Different recoil impulse imo. Nice to see more companies making modern handguns with rotating barrels. I’d like to see a sig 365/Springfield hellcat sized auto pistol with a rotating barrel. Just my two cents.
know one talks about, try my best to explain far from being a gun expert just happen to noticed that a clock or any semi automatic vs revolver most accurate: So here go's. Semi- 4 inch barrel when you load a bullet will take up 2" of 4" barrel this only leaves you a 2" barrel correct? Resolver cilinder holds bullet so this leaves you a 4" Barrel Right? So to me this would have an effects maybe to can explain to me the effects to me? Thanks Hank Reply
I first bought a Q100 then a K100. The trigger has a lot of spongy take up compared to a Canik or CZ. But when you shoot them, they are gold!!! Looks like I have another one to add to the collection!
Such a great shooter. The optic plates are a little thicker, but it has to be due to their design. The trigger on mine is right around 2lbs, usually around 2lbs 2ozs.
These are pretty slick. Always wanted one of the Beretta storms but not optics ready. Might have to think about getting one if a good deal comes along. Wish they would come out with a 10mm like this. I know they make a hammer fired one but again not optics ready. I really like the looks of these.
@@sootch00 Hi Don, I was surprised to discover that Glock made a rotating barrel "G46" in 9mm! Could you do a review on it if you can acquire one of those Glocks? PS: Thanks for your good work brother; it was your video here that caused me to search for more of these types and find the G46!
I know this is a quality firearm because I own a Stribog and I love it but my OCD can't get over the plugs put in where a safety would go in other models. I know its a cost cutting measure (same frame for different models) but I think they would sell more if they had a dedicated model without the holes where the safety would be rather than make one with the hole, then plug it up..
Agreed. I love the rotating bolt, but would only buy the hammer fired model because of it. It looks like a button rivet or something, cheapens it way more than the cost to do it right. Shame
I think rotating barrels could be the future of pistols. When machined properly out of quality materials it is more robust than the browning design. It never took off in the early 1900s because it was expensive and metallurgy technologies were insufficient. Even glock has dabbled in the design.
I had a px4 storm worked great but you're getting a lot more wear on the barrel and locking lugs. Id assume they have a shorter life span than tilt actions.
With a grip a half inch longer than the Glock 19 at 15rds, its a shame they didn't use that extra half inch and give it a 17 rd . Other than that it has some good features like the great Beretta PX STORM WHICH DOES HAVE 17 rds , aggressive slide cuts and a rotating barrel, in fact do yourself a favor and just go get the Beretta. Thanks Don ❤
We need holsters , especially IPSC style, mag extensions. Great job providing optic plates with multiple.options. This is something that cz don't provide . Hopefully these are mass produced and are available in 400 range.
Agree, I think they share the frames with the hammer fired version....so they just put a plug where the safety decocker would be.....I understand the reasoning, but it makes them look cheap and penny pinching....they should make two different frames and remove the plug.
I have small hands for a man, can you tell me what the measurement is of the trigger pull. From the trigger to the center of the back of the grip. Thank you very much. Great channel by the way.

2 of those look so close to a Berretta Cougar/PX4 and the APX which aren't made anymore they had to copy the design except the barrel is a little different!
I have the first generation Q100 with the curved trigger, just like yours. I love it. I think the old locking/unlocking rotating barrel design was much more elegant and probably more expensive to be made. Anyway, I have no doubt Mk.23 versions are great pistols.
Colt 2000 used a rotating barrel lock up. That failed miserably. I've never see a Grand Power pistol in the wild. Don't know how this would be any different.
Cool pistol Sootch, looks like very good for self-defense. I have a doubt, is the gun company who sends the guns to you, so you can make the review? Cheers from Brazil brother, let's see if this year we can save América and make a better future for the entire world.
The company (Gunzonedeals) that sent this was a third party that doesn't care if it's negative or not, but regardless, I'll never falsify my findings of anything I review. Thanks Joao
i love seeing so many more firearms coming out with their own unique design. some take n give but in the end its us who get the product. God Bless America and our 2nd amendment
Hi Sootch. Your reviews are my go to when researching a new handgun. I love the format and the consistency. You got me interested in Grand Power. Any chance you could review the Grand Power P45L?
If there was even a little bit bigger aftermarket for them I’d carry a compact. Buuut you have to beg Graham Bates because he bought the whole market. 😅
That opening was kinda wanky. It looked like Ol Scooch was taking a dump, or seriously thinking about taking a dump, when he was...uhhh.... mag dumping. Other than that, love the pistol.
Grand power handgun’s are some of the most underrated guns that nobody talks about
Grandpower is very overlooked by the community, they are fantastic firearm.

12:35 The stability is unreal…
I’m VERY impressed!
Always appreciate your thorough, well organized product presentations, no one does it better!👍🏻

Do you have the q100 mk23? how do you still like it
Trigger is excellent from an out of the box gun. After 500 rounds, it's great
Would love to see a follow up to this with an optic and maybe a frame change.
Such a great shooter. The optic plates are a little thicker, but it has to be due to their design. The trigger on mine is right around 2lbs, usually around 2lbs 2ozs.
The double action is about 2lbs or the single action?

The Q1 MK23 is striker fired. Not DA/SA.

*sootch00* Hay sootch, interesting shooter you got there, thank-you sir for taking the time to show us. GOD Bless brother.
Thanks Kevin! Always good to see your comments Brother~
God Bless you and yours!

Interesting action. Apparently good quality, too.

sootch....the opening of your reviews are THE BEST...rounds down range...that's what I want to see...bang,bang,bang.....keep rocking it!!!😂
Great handguns and so underrated. I own 4 of them and couldn't be happier !
That’s a much improved trigger!!!
Thanks, very interesting gun. Would be very interested in that Q1S! Sounds like an almost ideal concealed carry weapon.
I'd love to see a P100 with that flat face trigger in a compact size like this. Basically tgis gun but hammer fired and a flat trigger.

you'd assume incorrect. px4s have gone 150k rds with no breakage
Good morning, everyone. Very cool design with the barrel
If I remember correctly, the Boberg XR9S / Bond Arms Bullpup is a rotating barrel design. Thanks for a great video.
Sadly it's a tragic pos 😂

The plugs where the safety would be look cheesy.

Waiting for the Q0. Gimme they g26 sized Q
Every time I hear your intro music, I get this mental image of you being the drummer in an 80’s cover band. I hope you take that as a compliment 😂
That's funny! lol! But not as funny as if I really was in a rock band : ) Thanks Brother
@@sootch00 thanks man! I appreciate the consistently great content you give us. God Bless and happy Memorial Day weekend to all!

Thank you for your interest in there guns.

Please Sootch00 review the CZ shadow 2 compact
Hey Don, What hearing protection do you use on the range? Thanks Dwight
Great Video, Glad you liked the Q1!
Great review. Am shooting a CZ 75B. Live the ergos on the grip. Want a GP, maybe an C-Calibur. How does the grip compare? Anyone? Thanks!
OMG I need that. It's super HIOT to the touch homie
Oh so pretty, I want it
Colt 2000 used a rotating barrel lock up. That failed miserably. I've never see a Grand Power pistol in the wild. Don't know how this would be any different.
That looks like the original Beretta APX!!!
It's best to keep an open mind because guns that are late to the party sometimes have new and fascinating things to offer.
the grips I don’t like to much because I feel like my hand won’t fit correctly 😁🙈
Спасибо за видео.❤ Thanks for you video.
Looks very handy ❤~~
hey sootch00 great review as always! 👍🏻 could you tell how the recoil compares to a glock 34? is there a noticeable difference? thank you!

Awesome video nice gun thanks for sharing sootch00
Sootch, keltec p15 metal needs a thorough review from you.. defies physics! Glock 48 size, but better! Beats sig p365..
Rotating barrel seems to be the next THING. Glock is working on one as well.
No
They've been around for a while.
i love seeing so many more firearms coming out with their own unique design. some take n give but in the end its us who get the product. God Bless America and our 2nd amendment
I want one
Great
Was that an AC/DC instrumental, or did you ask AI to do that for you?
Isn't the S&W 5.7 a rotating barrel?
No
Yes, smith & Wesson 5.7 indeed uses a rotating barrel - they call it the tempo system
Beretta Px4 storm
Looks amazing and the new plate options are a huge plus. I am a huge fan of the K da/sa variants from GP.
Did I miss the pricing?
$499 on GZDs
What song is that, please?
💪😎🎸 KILLA 🎸👻
Would have loved to see that "Rotating barrel system" in Detail, but you didn't show it! 😢
Looks a lot like my Baretta APX A1
Hi Sootch. Your reviews are my go to when researching a new handgun. I love the format and the consistency. You got me interested in Grand Power. Any chance you could review the Grand Power P45L?
Thanks Kevin! I appreciate the kind words. I haven't reviewed and other calibers than 9mm, so let me see what I can do.
Global Ordnance is selling old model for $300.
If there was even a little bit bigger aftermarket for them I’d carry a compact. Buuut you have to beg Graham Bates because he bought the whole market. 😅
Graham Bates is a Grand Power fanatic and one of the reason I love them! lol! His reviews are always top notch. Thanks Peter
Wish someone could convince Glock to make the G46 available on this side of the pond! Only in Europe as far as I know.
❤️
Was strongly considering until Sootch said the trigger wasn’t necessarily that tactical. Can anyone else comment?
Feel it for yourself
I like full auto .
🇺🇸
👍🇺🇸
Dat bore axis doh 🤮🤮🤮
It's spitting leads ,anything else😂
Uummm not too bad but I prefer this one than a clock block gock dock oupps I want to say a glock 🙈😁
i dont see why anyone would pay that price for this brand. S&W, Canik, and Glock all have better options
Yeah, longer grip but only 15 rounds
👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸💯💯🔫🔫☕️☕️
Great review. I could do without all the "cool" electric guitar music, which in my opinion is annoying and distracting.
The slide and barrel are nice, but the frame is very ugly, not that guns should be made to be pretty, but...
the worst weapon I've ever had, a total waste of money - this weapon is very unreliable
Slovakia ? no.
Very cool action, but wow is it ugly. It's like the unwanted stepchild from Walther.
First
You want a cookie 🍪🍪
WTF is Happening to S&W? Looks BAD!
Junk
Grand power makes some ugly s guns
It's not as ugly as the Beretta PX storm😂
That opening was kinda wanky. It looked like Ol Scooch was taking a dump, or seriously thinking about taking a dump, when he was...uhhh.... mag dumping. Other than that, love the pistol.
Litteraly stole this from the 5.7 and for a 9mm it makes absolutely no sense......
