I think that’s a great top 15. I can understand how tricky it is sometimes to rank players because of the different eras. Personally I would put Wilt in the top 10, but honestly based off of your list I’m not sure who I would take off.
Everyone thinks Steph Curry is the greatest shooter in the history of basketball, but when Reggie Miller calls him that it's like putting an exclamation point on it.
In a positionless NBA this may not apply, we never heard this phrase until 5 years ago. All time starting line up: F LeBron PF Duncan C Kareem SG Jordan PG Curry
Can we count together? Reggie's latest Top 10: MJ, Lebron, Kobe, Kareem, Duncan, Russell, Shaq (over Wilt), Magic v. Bird, Curry, and Durant if he wins another championship. So let's say the Suns don't win this year = puts Bird back on the list. Wilt and Durant just outside the all time Top 10. Lebron, Kareem, Shaq, WIlt, and (eventually) Durant have won championships with more than one team which is impressive in itself too.
@4:52 steph's legacy game or games was the end of the 20-21 season. in mid feb, it seemed as if a switch was flipped. he went OFF!!! for 3 months he was doing things i only seen in video games.
wilt and russell played in a TOTALLY different game...almost a different sport. in 1961, wilt averaged 50.4 points per game and 25 rebounds per game average 48 minutes per game....THAT my friends, is a different game completely.
I agree 100% with Miller, with an exception to the top 10. Shaq and Duncan out. Chamberlain and Robertson in. Additionally, I don't believe the Lakers can win against the Warriors.
Last season Steph passed Ray Allen for the most 3pt FG Made All-time... This season Lebron passed Kareem for Most Points Ever... hopefully Lakers can capture the chip 2023 🏆
@@Vic-Vega That is absurd. OPs comment is pretty stupid. No, it's not hard at all, Steph is better than all but some 9 or less of the best of them, irrespective of size. But yours takes the cup 🏆
Respect to these two experts, but Steph is DEFINITELY in top 10! His game is undeniably more complete than most. If Duncan, who I respect, is there. Those SA teams were dull, My opinion. Plus Parker falling down all over the place has done actual damage to the game🏀. It's become too much like Men's "Flopper"⚽. It will be unwatchable if they do not remedy this. I watch sport for its merits not for faux bs.
yeah they'll be plenty of action from the Grizzlies, if they had all their roster active.....The Lakers would have lost Game 1, Game 4, and the series would have been over in 5 games if that had been the case....
Wait, you're talking MJ or Curry, who has the bigger impact. Where is LeBron in all of this? Isn't he the most successful and popular player of this era?
Steph my favorite player. Top 10 already. Another finals MVP he gets closer to top 5. But there is no debate him vs LBJ. LBJ takes that battle going away
How many minutes a game? I agree he could play well into his 40s, but not as one of the main 3 guys in a team, he'd just be playing limited minutes IMO
These MJ comparison questions are juvenile Dan. Stop it please. It’s irrelevant nonsense please just stop. You’re better than comparing people who never played together in the same era.
Less than half the audience exists today for NBA basketball then when MJ played. Granted Curry is the greatest shooter ever but the game being so skewed in favor of the three point shot is what enables his impact to be what it is. Moving grabbing offensive screens and no hand checking. MJ was the master of a more balanced game. Steph is the master of the perimeter NBA. To me a more boring game. Maybe one reason the audience has shrunk so much.
Steph is great, the best shooter of all time. But he cant be top 10. Not yet. KD carried him in 2 finals. 2015 Championship was due to Kyrie and Kevin Love's injury. LeBron still took them to 6 games. Steph had way too many Playoff games including finals where he did not show up! one 50 points game and media is making him Basketball God! Over reaction for sure!
That jealousy just made you lie like a Persian rug and I'm so embarrassed for you...check his stats in the playoffs and finals with KD, who had ZERO rings in all those years in OKC by the way and who got swept with Kyrie so there's that. KD did not win those chips by himself, if that's the case then he would've won in OKC easily because he had a great group of guys all those years but it took for him to go to Steph's team to win back to back. KD sat home after being swept watching them win another chip 💀There was a tiebreaker in the FMVP between Steph and KD and that person chose KD and literally got their life threatened by fans in China and that person had to go into hiding over it🤣🤣Lebron had a way more experienced team even without Kyrie and Love and still should've beat the young core Warriors who had no experience at all, the so called "King" with Tristan Kardashian, JR Smith, and many others that should've been able to still win against that Warriors squad so stop using Kyrie (who got swept and hasn't won anything in a decade since) and Love as if they needed them to win because they didn't. I know it hurts that you don't look like Steph and don't have his talent, insecure ugly guys are always jealous of guys like him, see it all time💅🏾
No kidding. Definitely overreaction. It's called recency bias. In fact, I'll show you just how recent recency bias is. If Steph did this on Friday Night and Lebron and the Lakers smoked the Grizz by 40 on Sunday, they'd be talking about the Lakers. That's how recency bias works.
