I quickly setup some new aquarium jars to house her snails and culture any microfauna that may be present.
New (to BucketPonds) species appear in vast numbers after nurturing the samples for about ten days.
Namely aquatic worms! Unknown variety. Somewhat resembling our Dero Worms.
The new Ramshorns are here too. With plenty of active individuals to start up a population.
Dina's bladder snails are a very welcome addition to our gene pool. The Physa breeding program is in full swing.
Very nice. Once I get back in town, I’ll send you the plant I was telling you about.
I have just heard them called mini ramhorns.
I'm very interested to watch you try to crossbreed the ramshorns, lookin forward to it
Another great video! I love floating plants, the roots offer so much habitat for microfauna in the oxygen rich upper layer of the water. Btw i think the small newcomer worms might be Aelosoma.
Liked and subed.
Lets go!! almost near 2k man
Remember me a few months ago built a pond and i started with one snail after a few months there was an explosion of the snail population for a test i took one and put it in my bog filter and now there are two populations the ones that are in the pond are larger and the ones who are in the bog filter are smaller with some larger ones who came from the pond
