Its very hard to choose which one was more epic since i love almost all of theses characters. But i will say this, When Helba created her "Haxed" attack, i love how Tokio runs around in a circle, jumps out of the way and then makes that face.

I feel this game is like a reminder to players of all the stories within the .hack series. Which is quite a lot o.o
@zankudragon has the 3rd volume come come out already? I still want to read it. ^^ Yeah And I've noticed that Tokio Has a very serius and heroic look to himself on the face of the .hack//LINK soundtrack cover. He looks pretty awesome there. :D Along with everyone else.

well kite can seperate the bow to attack with dual blades but he rarely ever does it he just uses the bow majority of the time and the dual blades as a random secondary attack.
@zankudragon Have you read .hack// Another Birth? I've read most of the Another Birth books except the 4rth. I own it i just haven't gotten around to reading it. ^^

@firestar02 having the main character as a source of comedic relief makes things more interesting. Not, to mention it help remind the player that the hero still has a ways to go.

Also, they gave Kite the "Tri-Edge attack" in //XXXX, so it's a bit of a retcon, but if you just pretend that he always knew it, it's no big deal.
Albireo's should have used the Divine Spear of Wotan like how Azure Kite used Data Drain. It was his signature ability...oh well, at least they gave him a slot.

@AzureFlameGod1986 I own and have read the first two, but the Barnes n Noble here only carries books 1, 2, and 4. No book 3. I'm going to have to order it online..

@StriForce maybe they'll use the justification Kinoko Nasu used for dubbing all 3 routes of Fate\Stay Night canon as of the sequel, alternate universes that eventually converge (or maybe an AIDA copy of Haseo's 3rd form)

I heard the rest of the .Hackers are playable along with Shugo and the other characters of Legend Of The Twilight. I want to see how they fight
me too, some peopel think legend of twilight is non canon because o fthe anime but the manga is canon and Zefie is mentioned on GU. So Shugo and all udeden characters are canon, i do not know why video maker did not include them. Maybe he/she is one that thinks they are not canon. (people are forgetting also that Mireille is Mistral's daughter).

It wouldn't surprise me. CyberConnect2, the company that makes the .hack series, also is responsible for the Naruto: Ultimate Ninja series of fighting games... and yeah, I was thinking "old man jerkface's giant beam made of keyblades" too there.

@StriForce well, honestly, the most surprising to me is the inclusion of Haseo's one-winged angel mode (Beast of the Apocalypse) as a separate character (at least Albireo is a canon character, Beast of the Apocalypse isn't a canon form for Haseo)
Partly that, and most likely this game won't sell well in the US either. Oh, and I don't think this has more characters that TOTW though. The latest one has 80 characters.
