Brian Tyler conducts his piece "Triumph of the Spirit (US Open Theme)" live in London at the Royal Festival Hall with the Philharmonia Orchestra of London
Brian, this is by far one of my favorite scores of all time. Thank you for uploading some epicness, Brian! It is my hope that in America, we can get as much enthusiasm about classical music, with a live orchestra, as they do from European countries, such as England, from this video. I feel there is much more emphasis on electronic dance music and pre-recorded, lip-synchronized music, that it has taken away from the all so important need for musicians. Brian, with your music, and your concerts, I feel you are single-handedly reviving orchestral music in America. Keep bringing it, sir, you're music brings storytelling to life. Thank you, Maestro.
Brilliant people like Brian Tyler, Benjamin Wallfisch and Michael Giacchino are keeping the classical symphonic traditions alive and well! I love what you guys are doing!
Hallelujah for these composers! They are picking up the torch for John Williams (who just turned 90 years!), James Horner (who passed away far too soon), and Jerry Goldsmith. In fact, despite a lot of "muzak" movie scores out there, Brian Tyler has many worthy colleagues like Patrick Doyle, Alexander Desplat, and representing the women, the incomparable Rachel Portman.
The tempo simply is great and the piece could really inspire and motivate!! Wish Brian could come to Asia to perform soon! He is such a talent and the whole orchestra was equally fantastic in their performance! Bravo!!!! 👏👏👏👏😊
Magnificent Performance by the whole Orchestra Team of Brian Tyler. It's beautiful to see how he encourage his whole team during and after the performance. 💠🌼💒
Brian Tyler. My favorite film composer! My inspiration to start practicing composition. Love your pieces man. I can't wait to see what films you will score in the future.
I, like yourself, am an aspiring film composer. I say, keep going, keep writing, DAILY! I don't care if it's only four measures, write every, single, day.
I like John Williams, Alan Silvestri, Jerry Goldsmith, and James Horner better, but I’m confused about Brian Tyler is conducting orchestra all the time.
This is excellent - it reminds me of some of the sweeping Americana sports themes by John Williams. I'd buy it in a heartbeat if it was available for purchase (preferably in FLAC). ;)
Its like if Bruce Broughton, Elmer Bernstein, John Williams, James Horner and Dimitri Tiomkin fused together to create a soaring and extraordinary composition.
Now, Brian, can you conduct a Mahler symphony with that kind of energy you displayed? I'm sure if you tried you could become one of the premiere Mahler interpreters of the podium.
America needs sold out venues like this. Sure, pre-recorded lip-synching artists are entertaining, but this, THIS is on a whole other level!

As a high-school musician in America, I completely agree with you. I love BT and his work and aspire to do what he does one day.

@@arnoldronning5471 We forgot James Newton Howard and John Powell.
@@johnlime1469 But James and John don’t conduct the orchestra, their work in the control room where the orchestrator does.

I love this US Open Golf arrangement from Brian
I especially respect the love he shows his crew after, that's is so respectable, he gave all cheer to, not himself but them. Wow, mad respect!
In my opinion...a spectacular arrangement.New favorite composer.Id be beside myself if I could see him and orchestra.

Awakens then uplifts giving us purpose, hope, then accomplishment with a crescendo as if we've finished a great quest! What an adventure!

Since getting out of the USGA deal, FOX is now using this for the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show.

Absolutely love the music and I appreciate watching the performances, but did we really need the trombone player at 1:53 licking the mouthpiece? ;)
This is absolutely normal! I play trumpet myself
Totally unnecessary. Switch camera!
1:53 focus
