I am glad some of these companies are experimenting with taking the best part of the barefoot shoes and combining them with regular shoe concepts. I want to grab a pair eventually.
I'm really trying to figure out the right size for me, i measure 27.5 cm, i wear 45 1/3 adipower weightlift, 45 1/2 nike jordans, i really do not like extra room in my shoes and i use medium thickness socks...now avancus customer service suggested a size 45 based on these infos, can this be correct? i red about people saying they fit too wide and to go one size down, should i go 44?
After stuffing my feet into and pretending they might feel good, Ive gone through Nobull trainer+, Ripstop Runners and Metcon Free 5 and landed on these and man, my feet are happy. I get they are all very different shoes, but having shoes that dont feel like vices are sooo worth it. I like them a lot so far, but agreed on the tongue.
@@Avancus I need to get more miles with them before I'd start making suggestions, but out of the box I agree with Joel. The tongue seems thin and not as well-constructed as the rest. Joel didn't get any tongue roll but I do. The tongue starts to shift left and right from center quite often on one shoe. A gusset might help that. Everything else so far I like!

I think the 45 will be fine - a lot of us that did reviews on the shoes got early pairs that fit bigger than the release pairs.
@@AMRAPthanks a lot
what size are your vivos?
10
The white on white looks better than the white and gold. Fight me.
Tempted to get these just based on how nice they look
Thank you for the review!
Truly a most comprehensive review! First time here and first exposure to Avancus. Much appreciated.

These are cool shoes
I don't mind trying a pair
However, the shipping to Singapore is expensive
Still waiting for mine to be shipped 😢
They mentioned that their system failed to fulfill some orders so just ask them for an update. They got back to me pretty quick.
How do they compare to the New Balance Minimus TR?
Minimus tr are probably better just for running.
Excited to get mine! Do you think these are better for weightlifting than The Totals?
Depends what you're looking for - if you wanted more ground feedback id say yes.
How does this fare along side metcons as they somewhat have a similar silhouette?
They’re not similar at all. Metcons have a midsole and a heel plate and are like a regular shoe.
