Suggestion to make the cable connector similar to the SL41 with a deep recess. We need to raise the quality of those 2-pins because how flimsy the connector gets. Heck I don't mind seeing the pentacon more adopted in future releases because cable durability is a general issue right now.

yes, and it's not just the quality of the driver, but also how Lee implemented the crossover and shits. Lee is popular with using high-quality components too. I'm still amazed at how Annihilator can sound so good and sets itself apart with a minimum number of drivers, compared to other TOTL sets. looking at the components through the transparent shell proves that other companies are cutting corners or perhaps just 10 years behind.

Probably the pilgrim and I would still need to remove the grill and place a medium sponge filter to taimed the treble and upper mids for sure to be good for my volumes.the simgot can't do that because the nozzle is a 3 holes that requires small filters for each hole for me to tune them. So for.my loud volumes. Maybe aful explorer foe a budget set and the noir pilgrim if I want a better driver iem

I'm not trying to brag, but once you've experienced truly high-quality IEMs, it's hard to appreciate anything less. Ever since I started using my Alpah/Omega: OMEGA's, nothing else holds up in comparison. So for me its my OMEGA's, then the Muxicbox Steranko Platinum, then Annihilator, and if I want extra bass it would be the Oriolus Szalayi or the Madoo typ-512
I know you're probably not a fan of fresh reviews (I'm not even a gamer) but I think its worthwhile reviewing his IEM. It's my favorite compared to dos/cinco brothers.
@@jayyaudio haven't hear the Dusk but it reminds me of a Tea2 with better detail retrieval, bigger staging, and better imaging- which gives it that special sauce. Mids and vocals sound way more natural and velvety compared to the Cinco twins. Also gives me a Pilgrim vibe. The only thing is it was reversed phase so the staging sounded unnaturally large/wonky at first but I reversed my cable hooks and really fixed that issue.

I think it's a mix of the 3khz pinna peak and uneven treble. The Arete does mids very beautifully- vocals and strings sound velvety and sweet but has extension. It's a great loud volume set too. Keep in mind I did put a 280 mesh filter on it because I'm a little sensitive to 6-7khz and it also helped get rid of the very slight BA timbre. Good soundstage and even better imaging. I'm actually about to sell my Top now lol.

Pilgrim demonstrated that the quality of drivers is far more important than the quantity.
I can confirm the same thing on Hype4, the treble is quite forward but so well controlled that it manage to volume scale wonderfully.
