- Fun, quiet, enough spacious. E60 means everything in terms of BMW right image. It's communicative from steering wheel and chassis, also quick and from our point of view very beautiful car. Even more, it now costs only about 8000 Euros, so maybe - it's time to get one. :)

Can it drift like a rear-wheel-drive or does it stick to the road more?
@@mattar8432 you can turn xdrive off and then it is normal RWD

@@mattar8432 There is some hints around youtube how you do that, I have never tried those. But if you turn just DTC off, you have much fun with 4x4 bmw in snow.

@@muldix Nice video man :) How would you compare automatic vs manual transmission on e60, e39?
@@paulius4071 The auto gearbox in the e39 is an old GM 5 speed which is pretty slow and increases a bit consumption but rather smooth. The ZF 6HP on the E60s are another story: very smooth, rather fast especially with the SAT (sport auto transmission) option, and the consumption is the same or half a liter more than the manual version.

actually the e39 530d has LSD diff but the e60 havent so it should actually be easier do drift but of course the limiter on e39 is that it only has 184hp. but after a chip tune is great

Nice, even I don't like when car get rapped. Also interesting to see 530d on manual gearbox. Personally I have 535d E60 LCI, there is no manual gearbox on this, I very like it. Can't image driver feelings, who get this car 2007-2010.

Well, 518d has 143 and later 150 horsepowers if I remember well. It would have had been very close to power ratio, where it’s still able to drift well. But I think, it’s playable. Let’s find some 518d :))))

Lucciano Chord manuals are gross because you keep shifting the whole time, autos are future manuals are dinosaurs that are about to go extinct, new autos are so good and better fuel consumption that they make the manual obsolete
