Great recap video. This reminds me how good we had it in 2017 with Dinesh at the helm. Kindt created a very compelling story for Divinity and Hairsine on art was great too. Kindt never got to explain why Abram Adams was in Moscow in the first place, wonder what he had in mind for that? Thankfully DMG didn’t put some ham fisted Z list writer on Divinity and wreck the character (like they did with Savage). If Alien are planning to tackle Divinity then they need to push the boat out on getting a high quality writer who can follow in Kindt’s footsteps.
I agree completely. The quality of storytelling and art at this point was second to none. It was simply amazing. And you’re certainly right about Savage, they absolutely ruined the character with that setting run. It was just stupid. If they do continue with the Divinity storyline, they better get someone who can handle high concept science fiction or it will be awful for sure.
Honestly when I read divinity 1 and 2 and it was great and felt like a movie. Really underrated character. And am i the only thinks hes a replacement for solar?
No, you’re correct. Before Dinesh was ousted from Valiant he wanted to have an equivalent for each of the Gold Key heroes. Divinity=Solar, Savage=Turok and they were working on a Magnus type character when he left. I can’t remember the name however.
@@ComicDrops I've heard some fans say that the replacements for Magnus is ether Atom-13 or War Mother heck I heard that Antonius Axia from the Britannia comic could also be considered a replacement for Magnus but if I have to pick, I think the closest analog to Magnus is Atom-13.

Valiants Captain Atom and Doctor Manhattan in one but I would say more like Captain Atom after all Dr Manhattan was also inspired by Captain Atom.
