a disassembled 9470m , does anything happen to the BIOS if the RTC battery is removed for say at least 1 year? also , it would be interesting to see a VISUAL when an incorrect screw is used that cracks the mother board Furthermore this incorrect choice of screw(3) could quite possibly be the reason my 9470M is giving a 5LED error blink fault (Motherboard error) on start up????? To offline the cmos battery won't get off the password! Don't do that contact HP and they will provide a file to unlock the Bios, otherwise change the Bios chip on the mobo.

you can resolve by unplug in the CMOS pin and reconnect it.then bios will be reset
