This video is part of an episode of Recovery, shot sometime in 1999. It's from the last episode they shot live in the house in Melbourne, hosted by Leigh Whannell and Janelle de Silva. This part features the intro, a performance and interview with Bass Anger, an interview with me (yes, me!) talking about my art project Identikit (part of Stuff-Art) and the closing credits. Recovery was awesome, and I hope we see something as diverse and anarchic on public TV again soon.
And then Leigh whanell went on to make the saw films, what a legend!

What a honor to meet Custard! If you have any other clips from them I would love to see.
Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure my VHS-capable ingest gear doesn't work any more, but if I ever find any more Custard stuff I'll post it. And yes, it was pretty awesome to be "the other Brisbane person" hanging out in the house chatting with Custard. Also, as that was the last show in the house, there was a party that night. :)
