      Thank you for your question! When the pressure increases, the boiling point also increases. This is because the molecules are closer together and require more energy to escape the liquid and turn into a gas.

    If thermometer can not detect rise in temperature at 0°C. So can you measure latent heat of fusion is 3.347×10^5??

    • @MagnetBrainsEducation
      @MagnetBrainsEducation  Год назад +1

      Thank you for your question! The latent heat of fusion is the heat required to change a substance from a solid to a liquid state, or vice versa. The heat required to change the state of a substance is different at different temperatures. The specific heat is the amount of heat required to change the temperature of a substance by one degree. The latent heat of fusion is the specific heat of a substance multiplied by the change in temperature.

      Kinetic energy will increase

    • @studybrains8380
      @studybrains8380 Год назад

      @@richie4283 Kinetic Energy gives motion to the particles.Particles of solid gets sufficient kinetic energy and they make themselves ready to move but they can't move until they overcome cohesive force.Therefore after giving sufficient kinetic energy to particles,heat energy starts to overcome cohesive force so that particles(which already have kinetic energy) can move freely.This changes the properties of that matter to liquid

    Mam in boiling
    If water boils at 373k at sea level where the pressures is 1 atmosphere?
    I couldn't understand what is the meaning of 1 atmosphere

    • @MagnetBrainsEducation
      @MagnetBrainsEducation  Год назад +1

      Great question! The boiling point of water is dependent on the pressure of the surrounding environment. At sea level, the atmospheric pressure is about 1 atmosphere. This means that the boiling point of water is 373 Kelvin. However, in different environments, the boiling point of water can be different. For example, on Mount Everest, the atmospheric pressure is much lower than at sea level. This means that the boiling point of water is also lower on Mount Everest.

      Thanks for your comment! Yes, you can transform iron into gas by continuously giving it heat. This process is known as vaporization and it occurs when the heat energy that is supplied is equal to the energy required to break the bonds that are holding the iron molecules together.

    Please tell the example of inter conversion of gas to solid

    • @MagnetBrainsEducation
      @MagnetBrainsEducation  Год назад

      Thanks for your comment! We're so glad you're finding our educational videos helpful. As for your question, the example of interconversion of gas to solid is the process of sublimation. This occurs when a solid substance is heated to a point that it turns to a gas, and then cools and condenses back into a solid. An example of this is when dry ice, or frozen carbon dioxide, is heated and then turns to a gas, before turning back into a solid once more.

    Mam if ice is solid and if we melt it it will be liquild and what is jelly a solid or a liquid

    • @MagnetBrainsEducation
      @MagnetBrainsEducation  Год назад

      Thank you for your comment! We're glad you're enjoying our educational videos. Ice is indeed a solid, and when it melts, it becomes a liquid. Jelly is also a solid, although it has a softer texture than ice.
