@@GoddessOfWhim2003 I think Late night has gotten worse. (I like & 💖Jimmy Fallon on the Tonight Show & Craig on the Late Late show). I wish Craig would do a RUclips livestream with his fans. It won't ever happen but I wish he did!.
Still can't listen without getting a little misty eyed. This song strikes an emotional cord with so many of us, because Craig touched so many of our lives. He does not even realize how much he has done for us. So thankful he stayed as long as he did. I know he didn't want to. This song does the same thing. It lifts me up when I don't feel like smiling. A PERFECT CHOICE BY CRAIG FERGUSON FOR HIS FINAL SHOW! This song MADE the final episode! It helped Craig convey his appreciation for his heritage, his rabidly loyal fans, the bittersweet sadness of something beloved that is ending, and the promise of what is to come in the future! I'm told i overshare but here it goes: I as going thru a horrific divorce and really depressed. I was living in a small fishing village in Alaska bc my parents had retired there. They had gone on a cruise and I was sitting in my room with a ruger in my hand. This song randomly came on on a playlist shuffle. I drove to the ocean, threw the gun in the ocean and started therapy the next day. That was October of 2018. Haven't thought about that kind of lie since. Moved back to the midwest and my song writing partner and I have a few meetings with execs to sell our art. My point in the overshare is that art is really powerful.

Ultimate respect for Craig. Played by his own rules. That whole "deconstructing the genre" and swearing thing really was his way of saying "I'm not like any other late night show"...He truly got jipped when he didn't get Daves spot and it upsets me because it would have meant him on the air for a few more years...but in a way I don't think it would have worked because he is so unique and that time slot at 12:30 truly is for the weird, late night creepers who can't sleep and are smoking weed. Thank god for you Craig. You helped me far more than you could ever imagine. From battling my own drug addiction, to stories about people from the past, to places you've been, to a dumb skeleton making me laugh...I hope one day I can meet you, and shake a real mans hand. Maximus decimus meridius Well it was in his contract that if Dave were to retire, Craig is 1st in the succession line. No further search could go on without Craig's approval. Not to be negative... but I really like how the live portion of that song on Ferguson's last show made the song end on a brighter (or at least more high energy) note. Made it seem like the "business here I've got to finish" was more exciting/positive. Is it odd that I got chills when Secretariat came dancing out?

You won't make your mind up for me
Hang out of your window
Shout it down to the people below
Everyone will hear you
They are going to hear you
Keep banging on
Banging on your drum
Keep banging on
And your day will come
Keep banging on
Banging on your drum
And they will hear you.
Woooh oh oh wooh oh Woooh oh wooh oh oh Woooh oh oh wooh oh Woooh oh wooh oh oh
Keep banging on
Banging on your drum
Keep banging on
And your day will come
Keep banging on
Banging on your drum
And they will hear you.
Keep banging on
Banging on your drum
Keep banging on
And your day will come
Keep banging on
Banging on your drum
And they will hear you.
Great song and the little ones were a nice touch
here because of craig ferguson, staying for the music. good job guys
That Craigy Ferg has excellent taste in music. Congratulations on about a bajillion downloads to come! Love, love, love this tune!
I was floored by this song when Craig Ferguson sang it on his final show!!!
Every day might not be good but there is good in every day - and this song adds the good to every day for me
i love the song and the whole feeling behind it.
Such a great song! I start every day dancing around and singing it!
The vignettes near the end are just great!
I know its too late to say I found this song through craig fergson formal show "the late late show", but this is realy great song and it was right on time for me.
can't describe how much i loved it.
ps:
never redo the video stay true and keep banging those drums.
Yet another great song from Cumbernauld
Yes,Craig Ferguson brought me here, but you're my new band obsession. Please don't ever remake this video BTW. It's perfect.
Not to be negative... but I really like how the live portion of that song on Ferguson's last show made the song end on a brighter (or at least more high energy) note. Made it seem like the "business here I've got to finish" was more exciting/positive.
Is it odd that I got chills when Secretariat came dancing out?
Absolutely here because of Craig Ferguson. Great song, i'd never heard it before last night. Send him a bottle of Celebratory Iced Tea, the best you can find, please don't send him any alcohol as you must well know why. Cheers! . .
Keep banging on that drum!!!!!! Keep your hopes and dreams alive!!!!
