Thanks Mr bruff bro!!! you carried me through these English exams, much appreciated for the work you put in making these exceptional videos 🔥
Im leaflet comes up im sacrificing the invigilator ibsr
Mr Bruff - I cannot thank you enough for all the knowledge you have given me over the past 5 years, to help me ace my GCSE English Exams - words cannot describe my gratitude for you Sir. I hope to get that high 8 or 9 and make you proud. You deserve all the love and happiness in the world for everything... literally everything you have ever done!! You are the best! And I mean it! It is sad to think this will indeed be the last video of yours I watch, but it was fun whilst it lasted. Thanks Mr Bruff.
Pray this saves me for my english tomorrow 🙏
GOOD LUCK EVERYONE WE GOT THJS
what the heck is an annecdote can someone just give me a list of those like things go use pls like metaphors and sfuff
No one cba to write all that now I would recommend to just search it up
@@HeheAmv what is the name of that stuff so i can search it up
@@esspeur well I mean for q5 search up and know all the aforest techniques and ofc search up what a annecdote is and search up language techniques used in language paper 2 question 5 like direct address
@@esspeurAnecdote is a personal story that the speaker has gone through, eg, 'Last weekend, my child told me...'
Last time watching you, nice while it lasted
thanks Mr Bruff. I cooked today because of you!
Have I messed up paper 1 if I accidentally turned the description into a story or can I still pick up some marks ?
AQA put out a really helpful document about how each type of writing can contain elements of the other: filestore.aqa.org.uk/resources/english/AQA-GCSE-ENG-HUB-SPR-18-PRES.PDF
Im cooked
Thank you so much for your videos - they’ve really helped me out this year!
Great!
Mr Bruff, for Act 1 scene 5 romeo and Juliet. You forgot to do a translation video
i don't understand any of what the video was describing and the exam is tomorrow :(
Could you please do a series on hamlet, like how you did one on Macbeth, please?
If you see the word (edited)☝️here you have to like this comment
thank you mr bruff because of you i’m not going to get hung drawn and quartered
I know you have videos on A christmas carol, but could you make more of them
I got absolutely COOKED during that test, possibly the worst Q5 I’ve ever written, and that Q4 😭😭
Q4 was so shit
If I used verbs and adjectives as language devices that I analyse, can I still get top marks on q3 and q4?
You have to use other language devices as well not only that alone
yeah you can use them
Damn I got english exam tomorrow
Mr bruff idk if im cooked cause for the power and conflict question i compared kamikaze to ozymandias on how conflict affected ozymandias from being a good king(conflict with his subjects) and conflict with his family in kamikaze. I feel im going to be stressing about this. is it ok?
I think you should be okay it doesn’t really matter what you compare really but I think for family poppies would have been ideal
@@kylahlove3717 tysm thats really reassuring icl cause everyone has done remains and once i saw kamikaze i panicked
Ur gonna be fine, it doesn't matter how close the poems are to each other, js how well you compared, I compared it to remains and tbh how I compared them is what matters not what I compared. Same goes for u :)
Should we start with q5 ?
Start with what you feel comfortable with. Personally if you do the Q5. Last it's good as your first hour you can get your source work Q1-4 done and Outta the way cause if you overrun your Q5 you won't get your big Q4 done on time and plus reading the sources takes up alot of time too
I always start with Q5, and it great for me. Let's me plenty of time to concentrate more on the texts
The fact that ur on a display in my school 💀
Omg same lmao
ts is easy
you failing 😂
Mr Bruff more like Mr AWESOME!!! You have saved my marriage (my wife was going to leave me if I didn't pass English), and for this I am ever grateful.
Hahaha enjoy your long journey with your lovely wife 😊
Skibidi sigma
leave her she ain’t the 1 how is she gonna leave you if you don’t pass English , that’s a red flag bro
Iam concerned
wait how old is ur wife
Best last minute revision
I need a good grade for English to study medicine, and although I never really liked the subject you make my revision so easy and engaging so thanks for that!
Im surprised you didn't say to do q5 first
i wish everyone the best of luck

Because it would be a copyright infringement to show the actual aqa documents
Thanks Mr Bruff! I share all your videos with my students!!
I appreciate that!
Mr Bruff will save us from ww3
Mr Bruff you are the best!
if you’re here for extra revision you’re safe and will pass your exam
Mr Bruff how long would you suggest I spend on each question if I have extra time?
I personally try to do them at normal times then use my extra time to go back, edit, and write some more if I didn't totally finish. This means I can also leave at the normal time if I feel that I'm done (but I never do that for English).
to cook or to be cooked ,, good luck for thursday everyone (ノω
Not me seeing this cause of my English teacher recommending you to me
If we had more teachers like mr bruff in school…
…Crime rate amongst youths would drop massively
Mr Bruff you’re a legend, keep doing what you’re doing 👍🏾
Thank you!
1:19 💯💯💯 very helpful advice.
i missed this part cheers mate
