Hi Birta, from someone that has done interrail in the 70s and 80s and 90s, most of my trips were from Dublin via the UK, and then by ferry to Belgium, this was before the Eurotunnel. From memory interrail was a great way to travel around Europe, met so many people, Best advice is to take each day as it comes. when I done Interrail, i just had the interrail card, European Railway timetable by Thomas Cook, and a hostel guide. No apps in those days. so alot of work went into timetables, checking details with local train networks due to changes etc. Have a great time and I will enjoy your content. Greetings from Dublin.
Small tip for your packing cubes. From caravanning🚐. Roll your outfits together. Then you can grab a whole clean set without having to unpack everything. This might work best for “everyday comfy” travel clothes. Maybe not so well for your evening wear. Have a fun adventure! I hope to do this someday.❤ 👋🏻Washington state,USA 🇺🇸
Interrail is honestly amazing!! My boyfriend and I went last summer and ended our trip in Berlin. It was the most fun and I've been recommending it to everyone ever since haha. So excited to follow along your guys' journey🤍

Dont depend on the interrail app, check for local railway apps, be prepared for changes, during the weekends Rail netowrk have repair works, when I done Interrail we had no Euro, we had to work with different countries currencies.

Of you arr going to Paris, beware! Me and my boyfriend went there interrailing last year and it was a bit more of a struggle than the other countries because thay have a different system, I think the biggest thing is that you can’t make seat reservations? Don’t really remember but I would do reaserch on it as soon as possible if I were you! Good luck with your trip it’s going to be so fun☀️🥰🤩
