Yeah, and I also think, as silly as it may seem, that this proves that kids don't need representation, necessarily, that's identical to them - just someone they can relate to. They don't have to be the same in every way to make a kid feel seen or make them happy. Like no one walks around saying “look at my black baby….”, “my Asian baby did this…”, etc. Especially in our current society where mixed children/individuals are literally fetishized cause it’s ‘uncommon’ or ‘exotic’ compared to the average family where they’ll have children within the same race due to traditions/culture.
