How nice. Caught a glimpse of my wife and her friends in Arroyo the other day. Lovely when it happens.

I consider myself to be very lucky as I am able to spend most of any year in Benalmadena.( Arroyo) Nice video, well done .I was quite surprised that this is the first time that I have seen this. The first square shown is generally referred to as Pensioners square by the Brits. Great place for a late night drink During the season, it can get very busy.Bonanza Square and Ibensa Square are opposite each other. Both squares very popular with the Brits. Ibensa Square is a real afternoon sun trap if you sit in either the Ibenza Bar or Sinatra's. This area can be regarded as a cheap place to have a drink, and if food is being served good value for money. There are however other squares in Arroyo. Examples would be the Jardines, at the back of the Carrefour Supermarket. Rarely visited by tourists, primarily because you have to cross that crazy main road - and because of that trade has fallen off over the years. There are still a few bars about such as Jessica's and The Toledo, but not much else. The other largest square is at the back of the train station. There are 3 bars there, The first, the Aro bar is an evening / late night bar. Great service but a little more expensive than the other 2. Caters in the main for the local well healed 25 plus year olds. The next bar is the Peblosol - my favourite bar in Arroyo. Usually great service, and a very quirky lady and her son run it. If you are a spirit drinker this is the place for you. A bit further on is El Coa, which has moved from Fountain Square (another Square and the most well known/ most famous/ most popular with the Brits during the day.) Great place to take the kids as there is a playing area in front of it ,and the food though basic is very reasonably priced. (Watch those kids as the road there can be a problem.) Run by a very nice family. There are other squares in Arroyo , but these are the main ones. Well done to whoever made this video
