I have had my 15 plate clubsport for 7 years.Have all the extras on it including full leather interior.Been brilliant & well looked after.31500 on the clock.New timing belt last year, just in case & recently had new clutch, master cylinder & pipes. Sailed through all MOT's. So only issues have been clutch gone earlier than should have & I don't belt it off the line too many times, driver seat coming away as in your video so new clips reqd & a hesitant problem that appears at any time on acceleration,it's like no power for a second or 2 then full power. Is this the pot 4 problem & if so how much to fix before it's the whole engine? Great learning video on what to watch out for
One issue I’ve had problems with is the M32 drive shaft seals, seem to keep going through these and keep getting a gearbox leak 🤷♂️ hoping gearbox rebuilt will clean it up and sort the issue
Hi Mate just looking for a bit of help, I've recently put in for a 2010 VXR just paid deposit, know nothing about cars just saw it locally and need to get a car asap just liked the look of it, It's 2010 has full service history had a new clutch and disc replacement and the wheel bearings are going to be replaced as its flagged on the service history, its done 60,000. Also going to have a new belt fitted as part of the deal But after watching videos on problems just a bit worried about this whole car culture stuff that means nothing to me, Piston 4, mapping etc Am I better to just go for something else? To be honest I don't really have money to throw at this car if these kind of problems arise Any help/advice would be appreciated
@@Yodaracing1 Okay thanks for your advice and quick response really good of you to reply so quick, cheers mate It's the Piston 4 thing that's worrying me the most to be fair, I don't drive like an idiot just like the look of the car, I've watched your videos and understand servicing regularly is really important which I've always done but is there anything else I can do to try to avoid this piston 4 problem?
Possibly buying my first corsa vxr 1.6t.....kind of shitting my pants now as the guy knows very little about it! Apparently stage1 mapped, 421 manifold, hard pipe kit, sports kat, boosting 10bar psi. I know pretty much nothing about the mechanics of cars either 😅😢 Any advice on what i should be looking out for? Its done 100k
I just bought one today, when idle not much noise coming from engine, but slight noise think it’s normal, also when driving home turning right at roundabout a really weird noise coming from passenger front?? Or rear couldn’t quite work out!
Hi mate the blue edition doesn’t really differ from a normal vxr the Arctic has a glass roof and a remus exhaust and the nurburgring comes with twin exhausts, more power , brembo brakes , bilstein suspension , drexler diff and different wheels hope this helps 👍🏻
Mine is a e is it ok 50000 miles 65 plate give £6000 is that a good price runs sweet I had it remapped stage 1 sounds noughts been told I got a very good deal
Hmmm nah cuz the alternator should keep the battery charged when running unless the alternator is buggered are there any lights on the dash ?? Also when you start the car does the battery light flash a couple of times ??
Yes the lights on the dash come up perfectly fine but when I go up hills in my corsa it’s like the engine struggles then it will just conk out then it will repeat the same thing
Absolutely love all your videos I've learnt a lot watching your videos have you got like a personal page that I can contact you on to ask if any questions or concerns that I might have
@@Yodaracing1 well they are putting a new cam belt on for me and servicing it. I will have a look through the paperwork when I go to collect it. If it looks poor servicing, should I avoid it?? It’s a 2010 plate with 78000 on the clock.

Sounds good mate as for the hesitation it’s hard to say won’t be a p4 issue could be a coilpack or a sensor on its way out
Thanks for this, thinking about getting 1 begin summer!

Well it’s turbo so doesn’t have 421 manifold lol just do the usual checks etc make sure it’s cold when he starts it

hello Yoda. Can you help me out what is the difference between blue edition artic white and Nurburng ring edition?

Yea decent price that for a E fair play
It's because the injectors are running at a 95 percent drive cycle that's why the pistons get hot n melt
Saw your car at tesco the other day mate looks mint! 👍
Liam Hands cheers mate it’s appreciated
How do you fix a Vauxhall corsa that just randomly conks out when your driving does that mean the battery’s flat?

Hmmm that’s a odd one I would probbaly get it into a garage as that’s a new one on me sorry I can’t be much help lol
What is the torque setting on the rear hub
I’m pretty sure it’s 280nm
Great content mate, just bought a 64 plate Vxr Clubsport!😂
Cheers mate ahh nice they are well specced them 👍🏻
Is it an expensive job to forge the pistons before you get problems with number 4?
About 2k for rods and stock sized forged pistons fitted mate
Is it worth getting a vxr am looking at them and enjoy your videos
I think they are a lot of car for the money and won’t really let u down as long as you look after them haha and cheers mate appreciate that

Anyone else having ticking noises from the engine? Presumably from the valves, once it runs idle you can hear it pretty good.
Is all compression piston is on 115 is it good or bad
Is that on all pistons or just 1 ?
Just put down £1000 deposit on a VXR. Am I making a huge mistake after watching this video??
