I made a deck similar, didn’t use death’s shadow but I did think of it (between Necro, three 3 life mdfcs, snd thoughtseize, can’t hurt) and one scary thing about the mdfcs is now you don’t have to build your deck around Belcher as much. It can just be a card in your deck that says “If I untap with this card, I win”
game one when we had bowmasters in our hands we coulda lived through the attack and gotten some good blocks cuz it looked like they were only attacking with those 4 and at 35:36 couldnt we just march the murktide and we were fine?
Sorry, it's probably obvious, but why couldn't he kill the murktide at 35:35 with the March pitching malakir? He'd gain six life and be back to top deck for two turns? Also, why didn't he cast the creature before attacking to know if he needed a blocker if it was counter-thefted?

Perhaps this is even the best shell for necrodom, but i am skeptical of death's shadow (unless u also play toxic deluge with it), i think we want the one ring and we also want soul spikes. The murktide player was lucky beyond belief, not much to do there, he drew absolutely perfectly the entire match
I absolutely hate Invert Polarity, too. The one thing that can potentially make a Cancel playable is if it has the text "Flip a coin. If you win the flip, you win the game." Not that it will /always/ win the game when you win the flip, but when it is played in the right spots it can be utterly backbreaking.
This deck is crazy. It's like the person building this couldn't decide what strategy to run, so they went with all of them.

Absolutely insane deck. The number of times a land has an obscure answer to a deck is astounding

Swap out the Talismans and this is Timeless legal. Double up with Necropotence? Crazy they're both legal.

These mtgo episodes are a little harder to watch when I don't know all of the cards thst are being played. Not a jim issue, just a mtgo issue.
