What i love about TDX is the details each single tower has many animations and sounds reflecting on path and upgrades for each single tower is amazing ..to me details like that matter!
I absolutely adore the polish on this game especially since games nowadays (not even just roblox just modern games in general) are so rough and unoptimized, a game with actual polish is so refreshing and nice
I would rate it 8.5/10 its good bro, i literally waited it for 2 years when john announced tdx, the game is also good, the only problem i see is they just reuse the same mechanic from game like tbz tb especially tds because John is also a tds player back then
John did amazing job making that game. He isn't out of touch like other gave devs and knows what community wants. Also he is mostly transparent with us telling us how game had to be delayed due to towers causing a crash. While others would just say its delayed and nothing else. And when it came out there was no game breaking bugs at the start which is needed so that it wouldn't hurt the player count in the long run. Maki TDX my new favorite roblox game.
a lot of ppl say that the balancing is off but honestly I disagree. I feel like its VERY balanced, and although not perfect, its still quite fair. every tower has a purpose, and there's almost none that fall under the garbage category. of course, the balancing will never be spot on, but its good enough for me to enjoy using every tower. (I still feel like they should make juggernaut cheaper in the shop though)
ive beaten every single mode easy = solo with ranger (literally a starter tower) intermediate = solo with operator and missile (cheap towers) elite = pain expert = pain and suffering for 10 hours overall tdx is a 9/10 the perfomance and graphics are crazy
personally I find the difficulty of the modes to be good the way they are with easy mode, I managed to almost beat it on my first try on a normal map (it was vapor city btw) and only lost to the plague doctor since I didn't know backspace was for selling causing me to not be able to replace my guys quick enough. I then beat it on my second try on blox out for intermediate, I had to give it more though but missile trooper was really carrying through this mode and operator was very good for early defense elite mode was absolutely painful for me to solo but after hours of constant trying and slightly improving after each run I managed to beat it and I have not beaten expert mode yet (haven't even tried)
Well, towers can die in this game John does have voice acting, its only for the top path of the john tower which gives a damage buff as a ability. Just like john tower in tds they already buffed the rewards given from modes now (specify easy and inter)
I can’t wait for maps to have a tonne of objects around and your towers gotta be placed really well similar to some really hard Bloons tower defense 6 maps
I kinda wish that with the green outline of all the ui I wish that we could choose a colour on a colour wheel to choose what colour that would be it would make the game feel much more personalised

If you know how to play already the tips mean nothing, most high level players turn them off anyway 2 paths don't really mean much because most of the time people just spam the one with the most DPS. no one takes bottom path opp, bottom path DJ, top path sniper etc... because they do less damage than the others eh, not being able to see thought walls doesn't really make the game better TDS has air units (plane and heli), water making towers useless on 90% of maps because they don't have water isn't a good thing personally I like being able to play whatever map and not have to play harder maps to grind better
@@Hexie094 1. he meant that the tips are really helpful for new players, becase the advisor warns the player one wave before the new enemy appears and shows a method of defeating them, unlike tds's commander tips, which are terrible for new players 2. i do agree with opp, but bottom path dj and sniper are both reall useful, since dj can give big discounts and sniper can do way more damage than bottom path 3. imo it does, because it makes the game stand out more and add another layer of strategy, by making you be more careful about your placement, especially in hard maps. 4. some times it is, because patrol boat is one of the best early game defense units and not being able to use it in every map makes you think more about what to bring for early defense 5. honestly i both agree and disagree, agree because it makes you not get bored that fast because you have to change things a bit depending on the map, and i disagree because i think you deserve a better reward for beating a hard map

I’m probably gonna be lynched for this opinion, but I think TDX is just okay. It’s not special. It’s not unique. It’s just any other tower defense game. Many of the main mechanics that the game has are kind of just thrown in from TD games, like how double path upgrade and speed up was from BTD. I also think the line of sight mechanic is kind of just, niche. Sure, you have to be a bit more careful with where you place, but I don’t find it to be the biggest thing in the game. I think my biggest problem with the game is that it didn’t deliver on my personal expectations. “Only in TDX” was the whole advertising campaign for the game, and well, no. It isn’t only in TDX. I’ve also seen much more unique and interesting TD games like Aether Rush, with an entirely unique system for defending. so yeah that’s my opinion, I’m gonna get destroyed for this
I really hope tds doesn’t become one of those games that just use the “beta” tag as an excuse to be u polished and an excuse for less content and updates but based on what we have I don’t think it should be in beta for much longer
Did you play other maps with max graphics if not you should try ngl tdx is more better than tds idk you must smoke something so hard you should give me that like must of maps are something else you can hear stuff if you mute towers like if you play Blox trap i kinda forgot the maps names the map what you show us ye you can hear sound effects and there's other maps have airplane effects birds effects even you saying to us tds it's still good for you :/ alr to be clear it's okay what you like but rating it 7/10 it's outrageous I played 100's tower defense games they did came near to tdx if I make a video rating every tower defense game I gonna give tdx 10/10 as a beta is so much better
theres only 4 good tower defense tds tower battles tdx critical tower defense and maybe tower blizt (theres probably more good ones but i havent play them all)
This game tho has pretty decent balancing like john is alot more in touch of the community than others like tds. Also john actually knows how to make actual good logic and making stuff not hella grindy. For example tds has this "golden crate" where you have to get 50,000 coins for one golden crate and you cant choose what you get you couldve gotten the worse thing from it or the best thing from it (for context the hardest mode that gives coins is 1,500k)
1 thing that TDX did WAY WAY WAY better then TDS is that the advisor gives good tips and warns you for enemies 1 wave before they show up giving new players more time to prepare. Meanwhile the commander in TDS is literally useless

I think John’s voice acting would fit this game, cuz it’s military theme and johns voice sounds like a commander of sorts

Only judging easy mode is a crime considering a feature for all difficulties above easy is tower HP and towers dying

I have an trash laptop and tdx on max graphics towers shooting and alot of particles. Was lagging yes but did not crash like it normally does
